For those who may not have seen, this appeared today. Well written by Chandler Rome. It goes into the process that LSU used to recruit Scott and what went into him deciding on LSU. Good stuff. Seems like a great kid who has brains and is well-grounded.

That was an awesome read. I'm really impressed with how smart he is. He'll be great all around for LSU IMO

Looking forward to the day when Lindsey Scott leads a fourth quarter drive to defeat Feleipe Franks and Florida.

I'd prefer him leading us to a 49-3 win over Franks and Florida.

Really good article. Been following this kid a couple years due to him being a fellow Bronco. I'm super excited to now see him as a Tiger.

It will be interesting if he gets some action next season, as UF did with Tebow when he was a freshman.

I just hope he proves his naysayers wrong and has a great career. My kids went to Zachary and I have followed his career there since he got there. He appears to be one of those special people that is a winner. This past season he took the load on his shoulders and took them to the promised land - when the chips were down he responded.

Thanks for posting. There have been some nice articles written about the some of the signees. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the stories unfold for these young men.

Does anyone know if 5'11 is Scott's true height? I know sometimes listed measurements are a bit generous. Johnny Manziel was listed at 6'0 or 6'1 in the recruiting profiles but measured 5'11 3/4 at the combine. He certainly didn't have prototypical size but made it work in the SEC.

I hope to see Scott get a chance to compete and isn't written off solely because of his height. The kid seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders, a good upbringing from his parents and is ready to work to prove people wrong about the knocks on him.

Most impressive. He'll make a name for himself here at LSU. Glad he's here.

Scott is a little over 1 inch shorter than Shea Patterson and I have yet to hear anyone say anything about his height at 6'1".

This....all of it. What this kid may lack in length of his legs he appears to make up for with the size of his heart. I will take that tradeoff every day.

So pumped for this kid! I love to hear about a qb that reads defenses and has that on-field awareness to make great decisions on blown coverages. That's what will eat Saban alive! Not just extending plays, but making the right reads before and after the snap. He will be a great one, I believe.

There is a certain QB at an All Pro level playing for the Seattle Seahawks that stands 5'11"...hmmm.

Scott seams to have some of the very same intangibles...great head on his shoulders, mature beyond his years, smart, leader, dual threat, strong body build for a QB, good enough arm. It will be very interesting to see his development progress over the next 4 years. If he was a stock of a small emerging company on the NASDAQ...I'm buying.
