The reality of it is simple. Braswell has made 8 errors thru 30 games. That's like an error every 4 games...which for a shortstop sounds about right. Sure, its contingent on the number of attempts and plays that are considered routine. But the fact of the matter is that our fans try to create pr...
Fielding percentage is also the dumbest most incomplete statistic in baseball. ...
Stronger defensively?!?!? Dude every time we put someone in they game they have an ERA > 5.00. And you think fielding is the issue? What good are arm strength and range if you can't field the ball and throw it to first. If you're referring to the slow roller against Arkansas 1) there's no gua...
1) He's one of our best hitters in SEC play. 2) He's on pace for 14 errors this year. For reference Josh Smith made 12 his last year with the team and was widely considered one of the best SS in the SEC. 3) He's probably turned more double plays this year than JT did in 3 years as a starter. ...
The fact that this journalist is reaching out to her former players and allowing them to remain anonymous... and they STILL decide to tell Kim what's going on tells me everything I need to know about this bullshite publication. Probably going down a check list of all former players in alphabetical...
It's just baffling to me when you have the likes of Bill Self still coaching, but I guess that's because his AD said fk you to a corrupt NCAA.
What other sport does Kansas have? That dude's only job is to protect basketball. We have A LOT more to lose than Kansas. Basketball is not...
Come on man you've never seen the 9th Ward or New Orleans East? You're really missing out! Still working on sarcasm I see.   ...

Don't waste your breath man. Can't you see the season's over? We lost 2 SEC series and have 8 more to play but everyone has seen enough! According to everyone here we can't play baseball! I mean we can't hit, field, pitch. This squad just isn't that good! I mean I know we're 20-6, but we might a...

That's how I feel about Florida in every sport...frick em' Never had a bad experience with a pig fan though. Figure it's bad enough they have to live in Arkansas, so I give em a break....

This series, like all in the SEC, will be tough. Especially with Ark having 3 starters with sub 2.5 ERAs and none really have issues with finding the strike zone. If we're able to generate some good ABs, get some pitch counts up and score in LATE innings against their bullpen (which we've struggled ...
Ahhhh wasn't aware of that. Sort of puts you in a predicament because Frey is probably a top 4 hitter on our team right now. Kling still needs opportunity to play, but I wouldn't start him until he escapes this drought he's in. In fact, whenever Frey is cleared to play a position I would cons...
Frey needs to be in the lineup every game moving forward unless he gives you a reason to take him out. He's gonna continue to use Milazzo as a defensive catcher that he puts in late in the game with a lead. He's not good enough at the plate to be used as anything more than that, especially again...
Outside of Tommy our lineup does a pretty good job of getting deep into counts and seeing a lot of pitches. His pitch count will be too high after 4...IMO....
I was told WW was fired because he wasn't Scott Woodward's hire.  ...
Cags throws hard, but super inefficient and struggles at times with command. He won't make it more than 4 innings....

This is what happens when box score fans give their input. Braswell is hitting like .275, but a lot of loud outs over the past 20 games. Playing fine in the field as well. I'll take this from my SS any day. More hits will come....
No doubt. But it’s even more so true when you have a good 9 hole like Braswell. Of course the sequence will change but at the end of the day I like my odds of getting steal + base hit as opposed to banking on base hit + another base hit to score guy from first. Just a preference… but many coaches do...
Ehhhhh disagree. In fact, many teams steal in that exact situation. Not like in a 1-2 count your staring down a walk and the lineup turning back over. Braswells hit shows you exactly why you steal. Because whether or not Milam is thrown out or braswell strikes out… it doesn’t much matter. Instead he...
Saw that as well. Leaves the dirt you have to be there....
