re: 2018 Saints Needs - PTinBR on 10/3/17 at 12:37 pm
He's had two shoulder problems in college and now a third we're waiting word on.
This. I like Anzalone, but I don't think we can afford to rely on him. I like that we seem to have built more depth, so there are plenty directions we can go but no real"must haves." ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)
re: Saints defense is back! - PTinBR on 9/24/17 at 1:12 pm
Back? How about here for the first time?? These young corners are playing better. I'm actually excited for when we get Breaux back. Breaux, Williams, Lattimore, Crawley, and Moore are all actual NFL corners. May not be great, but should be much better than what we're used too....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: if the cousins experiment somehow does not work out - PTinBR on 9/22/17 at 4:16 pm
That's a good point, but I was thinking for more of a Boston type rebuild. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

If you're going to trade AD, then why not trade AD and DC? Completely hit reset and be ready to compete when the Warriors and Cavs are fading out...? ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Frank Jackson broke his foot surgery scheduled for Friday - PTinBR on 9/1/17 at 11:39 am
Plenty of players have come back from it, but it has also effectively ended plenty of careers. You never know how a stress reactions is going to go. If you're already a team struggling with injuries, why take the chance?? Especially when there were SF's that could've done you some good? And also...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Pels sign Ian Clark per Shams - PTinBR on 8/4/17 at 7:32 pm
Good point. I'm excited at how much better our bench is this year. At the end of last season, Crawford was probably our best bench player, now he's being bumped to the end of the bench. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Pels sign Ian Clark per Shams - PTinBR on 8/4/17 at 6:14 pm
I definitely agree that you keep Qpon over Crawford. If Qpon could return to form, that would be huge for us! As for the defense, I guess I just feel that at some point you have to choose defense or offense, and Gentry is an offensive minded coach. Why not give him the toys he knows how to play ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Pels sign Ian Clark per Shams - PTinBR on 8/4/17 at 11:47 am
I get that technically Crawford is a pg, but I feel like he really plays like a sg. If it holds up, he was a better scorer than Moore last year on a much better contract. Wouldn't you prefer to dump Moore? ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Pels sign Ian Clark per Shams - PTinBR on 8/2/17 at 5:39 pm
When did Moore become an average starter? The only time he ever started was when we were devoid of guards last year, and I for one wasn't impressed. I thought Crawford was better than Moore. I know Crawford played better than his typical and Moore played worse, but still........Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Day 3 in pads: Klein @ Sam, Robertson@ Mike, Anzalone @ Will - PTinBR on 7/29/17 at 5:21 pm
I'm basing that purely on the eye test. There were times I saw him get blocked or just not stone a rb on short yardage plays, which you just don't want to see it if your mike. Not that he was bad at all, just looked more natural outside to me. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Day 3 in pads: Klein @ Sam, Robertson@ Mike, Anzalone @ Will - PTinBR on 7/29/17 at 11:27 am
Robertson looked good at Mike compared to our LBers, but I felt like he looked better on the outside. I agree though that at the price, I really thought they were signing Klein to play Mike. As long as we have a decent LB group, I don't care who plays where. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: PJ Williams on the rise - PTinBR on 7/24/17 at 6:10 pm
I really like out CB's as well. My worry is that though talented, they're still a relatively inexperienced bunch. I think they'll be good in a few years, just don't know how much more growing up they have to do to become legit. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
