re: Former Pels Players in Playoffs

NAW had a good game today. Looks like his time with the Jazz and T-Wolves has been good for him. ...

re: Draft Thoughts ?

The draft if hard to pin down. As our roster stands, you would think we’ll pick a C like Filipowski or Holmes, but I’d be surprised we don’t trade for our starting C next year. What we give up in that trade may influence what we draft. ...
Last year’s drought followed by heavy rains combined with training my lab in my back yard have left me with a giant dirt patch right smack in the middle of my backyard. I’m trying to decide if I need to use something like Scott’s. Thoughts? ...

Bally’s for playoffs?

Posted by PTinBR on 4/14/24 at 12:39 pm
Does anyone remember if Bally’s carries the playoff games? If I have the option, I would prefer to listen to Joel and AD but I’m not sure if we will since the games are on National TV. ...
I hate that Larry gets shite for not always being the best backup C. He’s not a C, and he’s said as much multiple times. He just playing out of position a lot to help the team. ...

re: Best C option in the draft…

I haven’t watched much college ball this year, so I don’t know much about those guys. I was just watching a tournament game the other day and they mentioned Filipowski is a good shot blocker and he can shoot. Holmes definitely sounds like a good option too. I wouldn’t want to rely on a rookie, b...

Best C option in the draft…

Is Filipowski from Duke the best potion for us at center in this draft? If so, it looks like we’d have to trade to get him. Yall think it would be worth it? ...
That’s my preference too, I just always plan to be disappointed when the Saints draft ...
I wouldn’t mind getting 2 OT’s, but I done see it happening. It all depends Ram’s health. Personally, I think he’s probably done soon. ...

After watching (most of) the combine…

I’m a little more ok with picking a pass rusher at 14. This OT class is just so deep. I still prefer OT first round and maybe Fiske or the DE from Mizzou in the second, but it won’t be the end of the world if we go DL in the first. ...

re: Any interest in Killian Hayes?

Who said investing? I’m talking about a cheap contract with team options to cut him if he doesn’t show anything. Even if he sits on the end of the bench and never plays, no harm no foul. Besides I never said I was gung-ho for signing him, just posing the question. ...

Size, speed, etc. the statement said his side asked to be cut. Sounds like it wasn’t a fit. They brought him in as the PG of the future but then Cade and Ivey fell into their laps. He just can’t play his normal position bc they lucked into MORE talented players. ...

First of all, we still have an open roster spot right? We’re assuming Karlo goes there, but maybe he’s more of a 2-way guy. Secondly, I think it is guaranteed that Hayes has the talent, just not if he can be an impactful NBA player. That’s while it’s a gamble, albeit a relatively low cost one. ...

Any interest in Killian Hayes?

Posted by PTinBR on 2/8/24 at 2:39 pm
He got waived today. Maybe a buy low target for a backup pg? Def not our biggest need, but more talent is never a bad thing. ...
I would do Val/Dys/a first for Murray with the quickness. I feel like having a true PG will help in the playoffs and Murray is a good defender. Hang up is we would have to figure something out at Center. I wouldn’t hate getting Okongwu with Murray but then we’d really have to give up something l...
It’s criminal how little we play Jose. I feel like their thought process is his size makes him a liability on defense, but he’s not a bad defender. ...

Shooting 40% from 3 and runs the second unit well. I’d definitely like to see Jose play over Naji and sort of Dyson. The only reason I might play Dyson over Jose is his potential if he develops offensively. ...
The funny thing is even though Hawk’s a rookie, I feel like Trey could learn from him about looking for/creating his own shot. I do like both players, and I’d love to see both of them in our starting lineup at some point down the road. That would be some serious spacing. ...
I think so. Especially when you factor in his aggressiveness, movement without the ball, etc. ...

re: Dejounte Murray on the trade block?

Posted by PTinBR on 1/13/24 at 5:00 pm
I didn’t know he was considered a bad locker room guy. Antonio Daniels always talks about good good of a kid he is. I figured the Spurs traded him for the rebuild and Atl was just a bad situation...
