I'm goning to miss Hunt. He was the most intelligent sports guy on the air. He really knows his stuff and uses it for real insight.
Agree. He may not have a classic "radio voice", but he could actually discuss and analyze LSU sports in detail, and he followed recruiting. Much bette...
Very low! They used him to get recruits there and then to fire him once kid signs is crap. Karma is a mofo!
Les fired Tony Ball the weekend after signing day last year so he could hire Craig. I don't remember that being considered "low". This is when assistants get fired in college...
Would be a damn bust
You're right. Fournette would be a bust. He doesn't have the size, speed, or moves to be an NFL back. Oh wait, that's wrong, HE HAS ALL THOSE THINGS. He may not be the right pick for the Saints, be he's no bust . :spank:...
Thatd be in their best interest but what indication do you have of that today? Many of them are full on socialist and show me zero interest in getting toward the center.
Politics and policies don't matter. Am I the only one that sees National elections are all about charisma and lo...
Didn't read the whole thread so don't know if mentioned, but Florida is a "two party consent" state. That means if the coaches didn't give permission to be recorded, the law was broken very clearly. People do get prosecuted for this. May not help UF though....
send troops in,
So what is the murder rate cut off for sending in troops? Chicago makes sense, maybe Nola too. Next Baton Rouge, right? What about Los Angeles, Austin, New York? Maybe we should just have federal troops in all our cities? I guess we'll just trust Trump to stop bef...

re: Thoughts on Chris Blair?

Blair seems to have more sports knowledge in general than Hawthorne. I listen to him on the morning radio shows and he analyzes the Bball team in detail, like an ESPN analyst. Don't remember Hawthorne doing that. ...
Downvote for not adopting.
Ditto. And don't get a sissy dog. ...
If she and your dad have been letting you leave that car at their house, you should definitely not let her pay you anything. How much of you been paying them for the parking spot? Beyond that, it's up to you whether you want to get it fixed. Sounds like you got a decent stepmom, time for you to b...

re: Where can kids ride bikes in BR?
Not having side walks is irrelevant as you're not supposed to ride on them anyways
It's really more that the street is tiny. ...

I love the movie but I never saw the directors cut. What's the difference from the original release?...
All the Bammers were laughing about it.
Riiiiight. Don't try so hard. It's ok to be sad. :wah:...
Appreciate all the suggestions. Didn't realize life insurance would be such a hot button issue. Rest assured, while I don't plan to buy any more, I bought it as part of a retirement strategy I'm happy with - and I always knew how much my advisor made off those deals. Since some have asked, my net wo...
"It's complicated", enunciated like Guy Pearce in The Count of Monte Cristo (an underrated movie). [link=(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROchE3j8As8)]LINK[/link] Caviezal quotes it back to him in the climactic confrontation at the end. ...
Jenkins is one of the greats. Anyone who complains about us having him needs to read up on his bio. He's one of the GOATs. We're very lucky to have him.
Agree. Hate to be PC, but,I think a lot of posters on this board are "ageist". Can't believe how many felt Jimbo Fisher was too o...
I'm in the business and unless you have a top notch and I mean prime property, you probably aren't getting very good service at 18%. Anything under 20% you really need to question. If you are happy with them at 18% then you may be happy underachieving.
Last year we grossed 95k on ...
Cam, Speedy, and Willis were the other 3, correct?
Think it was Tony Brown, Speedy, and Willis. Cam was long gone. Brown is doing alright, the other two not so much. ...
Insurance companies have been known to go bankrupt and there is no FDIC protecting you.
I'm no expert and won't defend whole life insurance, but if Nortwestern Mutual goes bankrupt, then the US economy has collapsed and we're all screwed. Don't want to turn this thread into insura...
The whole life insurance was always something I questioned, but it also seemed at worst to be just a super conservative investment. I already worry about how much money I have in stocks, so figured the whole life would be a way to diversify conservatively. It also allows me to spend my money in reti...
From Meadville, live in BR now. What is a robo advisor?...
