My 14yo and 10 yo got new bikes for Christmas and need somewhere to ride. We live in one of those one street, no sidewalk neighborhoods. LSU lakes?

There is a nice bike park at Perkins and Kenilworth.

You don't ride a bike on the sidewalk any way.
Just go.
Anywhere.
Is these mountain bikes? If so, I'm sure there are some good trails around BR.

LSU lakes or the levee is great. Or just ride in your neighborhood. Not having side walks is irrelevant as you're not supposed to ride on them anyways

It's really more that the street is tiny.

River Road: Baton Rouge's one route for cyclists.

If you're just cruising around: The LSU lakes and top of the levee from Farr Park to downtown (paved section) are two options.

When I was a kid I rode my bike to and from school. Now if my daughter rides her bike less than 200 yards from my house to her school I may go to jail
