re: Why are detectives and police allowed to lie to suspects but flipped is illegal? - theenemy
Most US Attorney Offices won't indict on charges of lying to a federal agent. You have to really piss them off to go that route. If you don't want to cooperate that is your choice, but also realize you chose to do things the hard way so don't necessarily expect any favors on the small things....

re: How do we begin to hold businesses accountable for illegal immigration - theenemy
[quote]Exactly right. I was talking to a tomato farmer one day about this. Just shooting the breeze. I decided to get a bit personal and ask him about his labor force. They present him with forged papers and he hires them. But, he knows what's up. He said that the Hispanics make $20 a hour picking t...

[quote]If there was no accident, why does she need to be detained and questioned by the off duty chief? Again, if there was no accident and if the police chief wasn't involved, and didn't see what happened, why should he take the other guys word that she was driving erratically? Why should h...

re: Woman claims she was illegally arrested by off duty police chief - theenemy
Sounds like a 3rd party complained about her driving and when he tried to detain and question her in reference to the complaint she refused his orders and tried to leave, prompting an evading arrest charge. The 3rd party is probably who was in the black truck and called her a black bitch. ...
