Great decision, anyone surprised this is Florida?
Charges were not ever considered and it looks like the only reason this question was addressed was because some jackass media type brought it up…

One of my personal favorites.
From the article it would appear the invaders we're career criminals and the homeowner did society a favor.
I find it concerning that the type of weapon used to defeat the invaders was getting the journalist awfully bothered. People still have an antiquated idea of what a defensive firearm is suppose to be.

I bet you're looking for it. Do you see how they made it seem like that was the sheriff's statement and they put "Simmons said" before and after? Do you want to know why it's really in quotes - because it's not true and they don't want to get sued. It's on purpose, they edit this way to sway people and give them the wrong impression. This is true in everything the media does. You don't have any critical eye for it whatsoever, you get duped every day.
