Ardent reels are junk. 2 different people I know have had issues with them and customer service. One is a "pro staffer" and bought like 6 to 9 reels and has already sent 2 back for repair and broke another this past weekend setting the hook. Other guy is a buddy that bought one and has had it repair...

Stick with Browning son, Stay away from the Tikka and Sako junk. It is just an OB fad. We laugh at them when we see them in the field. They just dont get it...

Wrong LSUballs, flat heads are the slowest growing of the sub species. Others close to this size have all been aged well over 50+ years old. Good shot this thing is 75+. LDWF had a study years ago of a group of flatheads in the 10 to 15 lb range. All were on average 12 years old with none younger ...

Smart move on not considering a mud motor, legislation is continuing to limit them and that is a great thing. I had 2 over the years and they are disruptive to wildlife rest areas, destructive to the marsh and so loud I can hardly hear out my left side anymore. Good luck bro...
