The team didn’t walk off the court because of the anthem, they went to their locker room because they were done with their pre-game warm up. CKM addressed this after the game in the press conference.
It was a wrong overreaction by Landry—of course it was April 1st....

Why? The playoff expansion to 12-games next season kind of makes it moot.
If the team can’t rebound from a tough opening week loss, to be make a 12-team playoff then making the playoff would also be moot. ...

I don’t care how the ump calls the game as long as the game is called consistently for both sides, which I thought it was until the bottom of the 6th—there were pitches that were strikes that were not called and pitches that were strikes earlier that were not called.
