Didn’t he have a neck/nerve issue which led him to retire? Has that been resolved?

Remember him looking absolutely miserable on tv.

he's from that area and probably still has a ton of connections down there, along with his own resume, 65 would be a tough age to start over

This is the gayest thing in the world and such a bitch move. We were a perennial power under Paul. He brought us a national title and some of the greatest players in LSU history like Alex Bregman and Dylan Crews

Maybe don't be such an ungrateful pussy

Doesn't seem realistic but that is his hometown

Also a little curious that Skip was all over the field in the Supers but you didn't see a lot of Paul even though he attended the games

Marinara cursed us with a bunch of 5’7 160 infielders who couldn’t get the ball out the dirt. It was embarrassing. Team rule was you couldn’t be taller than marinara.

I don’t think Paul wants to step on Jay’s toes. Paul coached a lot of these kids. Skip didn’t. Paul said from the beginning that he’d be around but he wasn’t going to push himself and I respect that.

No question but there were a lot of people on that field. I wouldn't think it would have been unusual for him to be down there especially congratulating kids he brought into the program like Dylan.
