Headline and article focus on Utah player that missed the FT.
Alexis is highlighted for making her free throws, but the central aspect of the article is the player on the losing team.
No mention of ANOTHER double double from Angel.
No mention of a career performance from Williams, only that she led our scoring.
What a joke.

I’m drunk so I may have misread, but the bottom line is ESP hates LSU.

How many “likes” did the article get?

Honestly, who gives a crap what some random sports writer writes?

You could try complaining to ESPN and not tigerdroppings.

Two missed FTs that would've swung the lead of the game with 4.7 seconds left. It's pretty big.

You must be reading the wrong article. Or talking about a 40 second highlight/key moment video and not the actual game recap.

Game Recap

1st 3 sentences
quote:

LaDazhia Williams was determined to extend her career. Thanks to her best game of the season, her LSU teammates will get to keep playing, too.

“I’m not ready to home,” she said. “We already know where we want to go.”

I felt bad for the girl who missed the free throws, even though I was excited for LSU, obviously. But it was kind of due justice that LSU caught that break, because Angel was hacked all over the place before they called a foul on her.

Ladazhia kept us in the game, so major props to her, but in all honesty, the poor girl from Utah pretty much lost it for them. Lex came up super clutch for us, but the missed free throws for Utah is what sealed their fate. It's the major story from a game that was full of them.

Hey, I felt badly for her too. But it’s not like she was a rookie in that situation for the first time.

Jones is a veteran, an All PAC 12 Freshman last year, and a 71 percent FT shooter. Bottom line, she just didn’t get it done.

Always bitching.

I swear there has to be a direct tie between living in Louisiana and feeling like a victim

I admit, this board has almost become unreadable and unbearable in that respect.

You can link that to the rampant socialism from its leaders. It is why it is ranked near the bottom in every category. BR is why my friend’s (an LSU alum) daughter looked elsewhere for college. She loves LSU but not it’s leaders or the murder rate of BR. I can’t believe how bad it has gotten so close to campus.

That large gal for Utah was a heck of a player. And Utah had gals who ran like swarming bees. That was a tough team.

There is.

Its basically populism where insecurity rules.

No, it's every fan base ever. From the Tennessee Titans to LSU to the Kansas City Royale, every group of fans: feel disrespected by the media, thinks the refs have secret meetings to screw over their team in particular, and the world wants them to fail. It's nuts.

I mean when I saw the highlights that was the headline for me. I mean a fricking 75% free throw shooter air balled the fricker.

Come on man. That was the defining moment of the game.
