re: MCU question: Who's more powerful - The Hand or Hydra? - TigerNutwhack
At their height, Hydra no question. Don't forget, they've been around for millennia as well. They were literally minutes away from world domination (if the hellicarries launch, that's it). I still haven't finished Iron Fist, but right now I'd say the hand is currently much more powerful. I mean, ...

re: Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer 2 - TigerNutwhack
Feel like it gave a bit too much away, but it still looks solid
Yeah, I kinda wish I hadn't watched it now. It did give a lot away. But it looks like it'll be another solid MCU film, possibly a really good one. ...

re: 'Justice League' Official Trailer - TigerNutwhack
All the nitpicking of DCEU movies really comes down to the fact that none of their movies have been particularly enjoyable to watch for most people. You can lift scenes and lines from each and compare and contrast them with the MCU movies, but in the end people will forgive these little missteps if ...

re: 'Justice League' Official Trailer - TigerNutwhack
Not a bad trailer, all things considered. I think everyone's expectations for this movie are extremely low, so hopefully they can surprise us. But I'm worried that they're going to have too many story lines going, and they've shown they can't handle complicated plots well. Cyborg's cgi looked ter...

re: How much does your son challenge you? - TigerNutwhack
4 year old is mostly well behaved, but does like to push his boundaries. More with mommy than with daddy. I'm usually very patient, but he knows to stop before I gets mad. 2 year old is 2. When he's not 2, he's an angel. When he's 2 he's a nightmare. Like most 2 year olds....

re: How is Final Fantasy 13? Board's thoughts? - TigerNutwhack
Overall I remember it being very "meh" except for the battle system, which grew on me and turned out to be very fun towards the end, at least for boss battles. Had some of the worst FF characters ever, but did have some great cinematics....
So . . . anyone watch episode 2?
Yeah, and it's fantastic. Better than episode one, which was already great. I'm really excited for the rest of this season....

I voted for Trump and like a lot of the things he's doing, but if not for family I would move my wife and kids to New Zealand in a heartbeat. The country is absolutely stunning...

re: Tesla's Monster 54,000 Solar Panel Power Plant In Kauai Opens - TigerNutwhack
Battery tech, solar panel tech, and transmission tech all need to get better and will. Solar is becoming more and more viable as a supplemental or even primary energy sources in some areas. But to make it a real primary energy source for the world's future, you've gotta put the farm in space. ...

re: I need some Baby advice - TigerNutwhack
4 month sleep regression is definitely a thing. And as soon as you get it "figured out", the baby will start teething and screw everything up again. So yeah, you're going to be sleep deprived for a long time. We found that good swaddlers like the miracle blanket and making sure the baby got plent...

re: HLI: Update/resurrection - TigerNutwhack
I'm not arguing we don't or won't have the tech to do it, but think about the raw material and labor requirements required for a project like that not to mention the political and corporate hurdles that will have to be overcome. There is definitely a time limitation in the realm of several hu...

re: HLI: Update/resurrection - TigerNutwhack
Part of me wants this HLI guy to be legit simply because I want to see a space elevator built in my lifetime. I first found out about the orbital ring elevator from the original thread, and knowing that could be built with current technology blew my mind. Also, the ancient civilization stuff is...

re: Why did the empire stop using clones? - TigerNutwhack
I don't know if it's ever addressed anywhere, but if I were the Emperor, destroying the facility that made the clones would be high on my priority list once I was in power. I wouldn't want anyone else thinking they could just buy an army to resist me. Same with the battle droid production fac...
