Rebirth full game spoilers . No story in OP

Took a break so I’m about to come to the climax for chapter 12 which as I understand is one BIG dungeon in 13 and then a final chapter more or less on rails. If it’s what he did in the OG then yes he’s a monster but the voice actor does such a good job he sells it crazy well with inflection

Yeah that really surprised me fighting with the beach umbrella was comedy gold. The game is chock full of little moments like this. Imo it’s far better than remake and tells the best parts of FF7s story well. Keep in mind I still haven’t seen the temple of ancient or what follows so I haven’t seen what assumes to be the final twist. The side quest are worlds better with new and returning side characters. They go so much deeper into inner party dynamics. I don’t like the design of the weapons though. Why whales?

Idk if they expound further on the war wutai declared in the final two chapters but it’s such an amazing setup for part 3

Yes your summation is correct but much of advent children is just garbage some is good stuff though. I think the main points they want to hit and include are the war inside the Lifestream (white vs black) Sephy causing geostigma and shinra/Turks full on ally themselves with our team and in this remake trilogy imagine wutai is brought into this to have some massive ultimate final battle. Likely I would probably say 75% chance a confirmed relationship with cloud and Tifa

Rofl that would be sweet but I don’t think we will get a happy ending at least anything past neutral. It’s simply not the tone or vibe they’ve set through remake and ESPECIALLY rebirth.

As far as Sonon he will be back in some way. I think yuffies trial essentially confirms it. Either we have to go to to the darkness realms the underground straight jack guy controls and kill or maybeeeee somehow rescue him

I think of the folllowing these are 100% a lock

-Cloud gives over the black materia
-Not sure we will get the breakout scene as the war with wutai is likely more prescient and Rufus has been characterized differently as reckoning Avalanches value. Don’t see him killing them for show that won’t help. The bitch slap scene is so iconic it’ll be worked in somehow
- Tifa and Cloud 100% fall into Lifestream in mideal id be shocked if it isn’t 1 for 1
- Vincent having a very much expanded on back story (much of his lore is fascinating and he’s technically the most powerful person in ff7 cannon can’t see them leaving that our) combined with how much more explored each party member has been freeing Lucretia will be tied into that lore exploration
- If you mean the huge materia I think it’s cut. Too much resources for space and all the scenario for something really insignificant. If you mean shinra trying to kill meteor with ff7s version of a nuke I think it’s worked in.
- I think the weapons are presented different. Less like they’ll be a threat to humanity living and helping in the Lifestream war between white and black. They may fire the cannon at something but doubt it’s a weapon
- The Midgar parachute will be the same plot points but massively expanded I expect. Many iconic boss fights with huge enemies happen there including hidegar and hojo giving Vincent redemption and for anyone who missed it confirmed hojo is Sephs dad
- Geostigma will be heavily tied into the plot imo as a byproduct of the white vs black ear in the Lifestream
- Dirge is too out there for this remake telling the same mostly story it invokes chaos (Vincent) meant to take all of humanity’s souls and deliver it to omega to transport to another plant and restart the Lifestream. Just won’t happen in this remake. I could see some of the iconic villains playing role like Weiss and Nero who already appeared in intermission Yuffie

Yes but unlike the original the scene you’re mentioning he clearly states they are going to take the giant materia orb from a weapon for it and scarlet complains saying they’re close to manufacturing it.

I have no real idea what they aim to do with it but I highly doubt it’s launch it at meteor
