Any good drinking spots in walking distance to the arena?

You don’t wanna walk too much more than to the arena and your car, when in Shreveport

Bossier is not in Shreveport. The arena is in a low crime area but there are no drinking establishments nearby.

The arena is kinda in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing walkable around it.

Yea there's nothing remotely close to the arena. Try downtown Bossier with Frozen Pirouge, Beauxjax or Flying Heart then take the Arthur Teague Pkwy, which is right next to those, all the way to the arena. It's a straight shot.

It's in Bossier in an area that isn't bad at all but theres no bars within walking distance unless you want to walk a couple of miles down Barskdale Blvd and hit one of those small hole in the wall bars that alcoholics sit in on weekdays at noon.

I’m born and raised in Bossier.
It’s definitely way safer than Shreveport.

The Bossier “downtown” area is much nicer now.

Couples places that are great to pre-game for the basketball game are

Flying Heart
BeauxJax craft house
Frozen Pirogue
(All 3 near each other)

Obviously the casinos are never a bad idea
Horseshoe
Bally’s
Margaritaville
(I recommend these 3)

Nothing near the arena as it’s a 10 minute drive from the bossier downtown/casino area

The boardwalk also has hooters

Best and closest place is Flying Heart Brewing about 5ish miles away. Get the Daywrecker brew.

That doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me. I think I'll watch the game at my home.

Flying Heart Brewery is a pretty cool place. I’ll be in attendance at the game.

Online it looks like very few tickets have been sold. My wife and I are driving up to see the game. I hope we get a good walk-up crowd.

Independence Bowl is the same day. The bowl game starts at 2:30 pm, so hopefully some of that crowd heads over to Bossier to watch the basketball game too. I'll be there, hope it's a good game.

The Lofton kid could give LSU problems. If they handle him decently it shouldn’t be close

Frozen pirouge sucks. The beauxjacks
place isn't much better. Nothing like a cajun seafood place and nothing is fried.

Tech will have to play lights out for them to have a chance to win. We're missing our 2nd best player in Isaiah Crawford. He's out for the year with a knee injury.
