What's going on Cuse?

Looking to get from Boston to Las Vegas and back: 1/5 - 1/8. Think you could work your magic? Because the flights I'm finding are outrageous.

Howdy partner

Grand total of $314 on Southwest for those dates. Can depart BOS anytime in the morning, noon or evening (will have to connect at an airport of your choosing: BWI, DEN, MCI, DAL, MDW, MKE).

Coming back on 1/8 depart vegas 11:10am, arrive ATL 5:55pm, depart ATL 7:40pm back in BOS at 10:20pm

The next cheapest option is spirit for $417 and while nonstop, it's a redeye on the return and it's spirit

That's actually not bad at all. I was looking on Delta and the cheapest I was seeing was somewhere around $700.

I didn't even look into Spirit because, as you said, it's Spirit.

Thanks bud.

Yeah, don't book that

Granted we're still really far out from your dates of travel so the fares could easily go down as not many people want to go anywhere the weekend after new years. Only problem I see is you're wanting to fly cross country on a sunday at a decent time so it's likely going to be more expensive than the LAS-ATL-BOS we just found. Plus if the price goes down on Southwest you can get a credit for free.

damn it! there you are!

Looking at Orlando. Early december, from Houston. We are pulling the kids out of school to go to Disney. Screw going during the holidays and fighting the masses.

When is the best time to shop? I know you can book too early, and I of course know trying to get a flight last minute is no bueno.

But what is the sweet spot? We are looking at December 3rd thereabouts. Assumption being it is a downtime between holidays? It's only an assumption.

Here's a link I found for expected disney crowds in december. I'm assuming that should be an okay time to go as you're between thanksgiving and christmas
LINK

For flights, definitely go with southwest on this. They have one way fares of $69 HOU-MCO AND they're nonstop flights PLUS family boarding. I would book immediately as $138 roundtrip is a great price in my opinion. Cheapest departure date is Saturday december 3rd 1:55pm- arrive in Orlando 5:05pm.

Returning not sure how long you were going to stay?? You can come back to Houston December 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 for $69 nonstop as well

That should be a great time to go . Looking at around $435/$466 roundtrip for early June 2017. That's the same price I'm seeing for this fall and winter as well

Great post! United has been discounting its China stuff recently. Some good deals to be had on the SFO-China routes.

What are you using as a source for these? A GDS or just browsing the individual routes/airlines?

Trans-Pacific is a bloodbath right now. If you are willing to fly a Chinese carrier you can get a steal. Hainan ORD-PEK is like $2500 for J roundtrip!

When should I start looking for flights to Orlando for Mardi Gras. The trip is booked but no flights. For the right deal, I'll switch the days around that we are staying in Disney. Going a Sat-Thur.

I don't think Hainan J is worth $2500 Though I've never flown it.

Start browsing now. Sometimes you can find some really early deals to orlando before everyone else makes mardi gras plans. I'm finding flights for $326, which seems a bit much for right now. I'll keep an eye out

Cabin service in the premium cabin is a major issue. So is language barrier. Their FAs are not universally fluent in English.

Just the southwest website? How do you get to the $69 fares? I've yet to find it.
