Went to Warby Parker and it was pretty cheap. I want to say $110 all in with tax. Very happy with the style/quality....

re: DH - B. Jordan C- Pap - SM6
Papierski at catcher makes perfect sense, even if he is light hitting you want his defense back there so Lange can throw the breaking ball in the dirt. I would have liked to see Breaux at DH for his speed or Worley because I think he is better than the 0-fee he hung a few weekends ago, but Jorda...

Negotiating closing costs, benefit to seller? - SM6
A quick question regarding closing costs using some hypothetical numbers. House is listed at 300, I offer 280. Seller counters with 290. Is there any incentive to the seller if I were to counter with 290 (and the seller pays 5K of closing costs), versus 285 (the ultimate price I wanted) and I han...

re: Potential Move to Dubai? - SM6
My firm does a lot of work in Abu Dhabi, not far over. A colleague was there for an extended rotation and spent some time in Dubai. He said it was flashy, lots of interesting stuff, but it did tire after a while. He's mid-late 20s and while not a major partier, does go out for drinks and such. He...

No, delta does not. Virgin Australia is the only affiliate that does. You can fly United, American, or a foreign carrier like Air NZ or Qantas...

re: Baseball Game 10: #1 TCU 9 vs #2 LSU 6 | FINAL - We need a new catcher edition - SM6
One game should dictate a change of the catchers position. Ok. Right. Kramer Robertson had a shite game last year, should we have benched him? I encourage certain posters on this board to watch more than the big Friday tourney game....

re: If planning a trip to Olympic National Forest, then check out Port Townsend. - SM6
We go every time we visit my grandma in Sequim. Sirens on the water is great, we'll typically take the ferry in from Whidbey Island and grab lunch there. The whole Olympic Penninsula is fantastic, spending summer out there is an absolute blast....

re: 2014: MSY-SYD 1 stop=$1700; 2017 Same flight=$2700. - SM6
September is a shoulder season there, Christmas is the high season. Start looking again in July and you might have better luck, but I wouldn't count on a significant drop....

re: EVA Air - SM6
Eva runs really high load factors. Here at Chicago they have been 90% despite beginning in Nov. They will sell low fares to fill inventory so expect a full flight. From everything I've heard it's a very nice onboard experience and nearly all flight attendants speak passable English at a minimum. ...
aVatiger
Are you down in the Franklin/Wise/Tazewell area? Knew a girl from Big Stone Gap in high school and (per her) half her graduating class had either tried or abused OC. Just as bad among the parents, especially laid off mine/mill workers in the area....

re: Need Reviews: Condor Airlines direct flight NOLA to Frankfurt - SM6
Business class on Condor is angle flat, not lie flat. Not a bad seat, similar to Air France's A330 seat which was perfectly fine. The difference will likely be in the soft product. But you're just planning to eat dinner and catch some Zzzs, should be good for that. Premium economy is similar to D...

re: Need Reviews: Condor Airlines direct flight NOLA to Frankfurt - SM6
Condor is perfectly fine. It is a low-cost/scheduled charter operator, so don't expect Air France level service. Optional services (seat assignment, baggage) likely to cost extra. May not have a meal (unless purchased on board). But they are reliable and will get you there safe and sound. ...
