re: Official 2017 NFL Draft Thread - SM6
Dupontscircle is gayer than the actual people in DuPont circle. Byron is just a sissy ladyboy. Bunch of grown men on a message board melting over draft picks. ...

re: Going to Kauai in November - SM6
I would stay at the villas at poipu kai when I went to Kauai for work a few times. Folks have already given great activity recommendations, here are some for food. Poke at the Koloa fish market is divine Fish tacos at 'Da Crack' in poipu best I've ever had. Coconut shrimp at a road side st...

Where to stop for Boudin on I-10 - SM6
My brother is driving from Texas to New Orleans along I-10 tomorrow and he wanted a suggestion for a good place to stop for fresh boudin along I-10, without going far off the interstate. Any good gas stations to hit (I'd assume in the Lafayette area). Thanks in advance!...

You aren't too far from Fredericksburg, or the Wilderness. Also take a trip to Mount Vernon in Fairfax county. Monticello in Charlotesville is great. Sorry, but my old home county is now just full of suburban sprawl and El Salvadorians. ...

Look to book Iceland in the off peak or shoulder periods. With all of the tourism growth there, they have literally maxed out their infrastructure and labor force. Anyone who has flown through Keflavik between 530a-8a has been stuck waiting for buses to get between planes and terminals because they ...

I find the major bank (maybe Santander) and just use my ATM to withdraw what I need. I do not have int'l transaction fees and by going directly through the bank you typically get the interbank rate. Visa will work in major establishments, but forget about Amex or anything else....

Bull Run is about it, I grew up not too far from there. Mostly a bedroom community. Middleburg, Gainsville and points west on 29/15 used to have good antique stores if you are into that kind of thing. Even Leesburg was cool but now it is just an upper middle class suburb....

17th/K is right at Farragut, so you have access to the Red, Orange, Silver, and Blue lines. Tons of options there. Red Line is great if you want to live in the city. Orange/Silver provide access to Arlington. A lot of recent college grads (myself included) lived along Courthouse/Clarendon/Virgina...

Saab 340 prop planes are great for the route. They seem to be reliable and offer a service that otherwise would require a long drive. Use it or lose it. When we left on Southwest a few weeks back the agent said they were averaging 60-70 seat factors....

re: Booking Flight Segments Separately - SM6
[quote]For the London-DFW flight, book the American flight that leaves at 12:50pm instead of the british airways flight that leaves at 11:50am. I'm not sure if there's an interline agreement between American/Croatia where they will automatically transfer your bags. You may have to pick them up in Lo...
