As far as smoothness and ease of use, the Windows Phone is by far the best of the 3, in my opinion. Apple and Android have a lot more apps though which obviously sets them apart in the market.

You're such a terrible fanboy, this is actually pathetic and you make a thread thinking it's awesome. Clueless Apple kids.

This. I prefer android because of the apps, but windows has put together a great mobile OS

So what's the point of you entering the thread again?
Not really sure what your chortling about. Considering NFC is a pretty huge untapped resource, faster LTE speeds is never bad, and wireless charging could be pretty cool, again, not sure what you think is hilarious.

Just like the other guy said, don't come in here all pissy bc Apple actually puts thought and effort into their designs. Just like everyone was all "oh a fingerprint scanner? That's been done already." Oh really? Well too bad androids instances of it have been complete pieces of crap while once again the iPhone executes it flawlessly.

If you wanna come in here and talk facts then do so. But if you're gonna turn this board into a huge pissing match then GTFO with your mouth breathing arse.

I should have waited. I've never owned an IPhone, but I've been wanting one for a minute.

This contradicts the thread completely

Being late to the party on:
3G
Video Recording
Copy and paste
MMS
Multitasking
LTE
Notifications
NFC
Wireless charging

Makes you superior

I'll more than likely be deciding between this or the new Amazon phone. Just pulled the trigger on a MacBook Air, so sticking with the ease of Apple is tempting, but I've also been wanting to switch off of the iPhone just to try something new.

Windows Phone baw! HTC, Samsung and LG need to get off their asses and release phones for this platform!

Also Android is a refined OS with a lot of top notch phones out right now

So because they didn't rush their technology out on subpar phones or technology they're not superior? To me that's the main difference between Android and iOS in general. One rushes things out just to have the novelty of saying they were first whole one takes the time to make sure it works as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

I don't.

Why hate something just because you own an altetnative product made by a competitor?

Seems a little goofy to me.

We're talking about copy and paste

From iPadThai's thread a few links below

quote:

Apple's mobile platform (née "iPhone OS") has changed a lot over the years, from the halcyon days before even the App Store ("an iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator," as Steve Jobs originally put it) through its feature creep of notifications, multitasking and even cut, copy, and paste — and along the way, some breakthrough ideas. Here's a visual history of iOS, from its smash-hit debut, through apps and Siri, all the way up to the next version coming this fall, iOS 8.

Apple, the feature creeper

I will never understand how having an iPhone makes me a sheep. I like the phone. Does everything I need a phone to do. Absolutely no complaints about it.

Some of y'all are so pathetic that you have nothing better to do than bitch about a cell phone manufacturer and insult the people that like their products. If you don't have an iphone/Mac and don't want one, then why do you give a flying frick?

Obviously not directed at you OP.

I owned 3 generations of iphones.. I was the typical fanboy until I made the switch and realized what I was missing out on.. I'm not saying Android is better for everyone, but it is far superior in every way for me.. Would I recommend it for my dad who's owned an iPhone for a while.. No.. For me Android is better and it's not close.

Eta: I'm not calling y'all fanboys, but if you've never owned a newer generation Android you may be missing out as well.

Bro, Apple is full of sheep. All of the guys that have android products aren't sheep though. The ones making fun of Apple owners aren't sheep. Android fanboys aren't android sheep. Only Apple. It's cool to hate on Apple.

I've been wanting to switch to Apple, but the thought of having to switch to Itunes or whatever and switch all my desktops to Apple kind of turns me off. I wish it weren't so proprietary, but I guess that's part of their appeal.

See, an I'm cool with this. Come in here and have a damn logical discussion about it. This isn't the OT. I'm fine with having a differing opinion on things and I'm genuinely interested in both sides of the aisle, but when you come in here and act like a child, GTFO.

You aren't the problem. If you like Android better and find it superior, that is great. It may find it superior, too. But the iphone suits my needs just fine: Internet, mail and maps. That's all I use my phone for.

There's no need to insult someone for which phone they buy. It's extremely childish.
