The last time this went on sale, I had just bought one a few days earlier at full price. I called amazon and asked for a price match and they gave it to me no questions asked.

I saw this earlier and have been thinking about ordering one even though I have a Roku 3 and love it. But I like the idea of getting Kodi and Alexa is pretty cool.

ETA: frick it, ordered the bundle with HD antenna and HDMI cable for $95

I have not found many useful features for alexa other than the weather and adding stuff to a shopping list.

Is 84 the lowest it ever gets, including Black Friday and Prime Day sales?

So it goes down the lowest for Black Friday, and every 1-2 months it goes down to around 84.

I haven't had one before but a friend controlled his lights, TV, stereo from it so it has some good features. Also the search function on the Fire TV with Alexa is supposed to be really nice.

the stick is fine for a room that you watch tv in every now and then and it's not that important.

If i was watching an LSU game, i'd never watch it on a fire or roku stick.
I wouldn't even watch it on a firetv or Roku3 not hardwired in.

to answer your question, speed. changing a channel on sling can take 30 seconds on the stick, and about 3-5 seconds on the box hardwired in.

I have cable so I figured for $10 to get an antenna and a 6' HDMI cable was worth it. I may never "cut the cord" but my buddy did recently so I'll probably give him this antenna.
