Arsenal draws Udinese in the UCL Qualifying round. No Wenger, RVP and Nasri in the first leg at the Emirates.

If they aren't going to offer his valuation in a one time cash payment, yes I think it is a good thing. Are you adjusting to the heat down here?

Doin yard work at Granny and Granpa's yesterday I think I might have got heat stroke. Seriously I went to bed at 9 p.m. CT You know the routine, keep up the fluids (multiples of Turbo Dog) and keep the cold showers and air conditioning blasting I think i will head to Hendo's watch party in Laffy though on the 10th...

Tough draw, though Udinese have lost 3 big pieces of their squad from last year...

17.5mm pounds scared. It is a tough draw and sandwiched between some difficult league matches. The beginning of the campaign is going to be a helluva ride.

I wonder if Wenger with cup tie Cesc?

Better them than Kazan. It won't be easy, but as already stated, minus Di Natale they've lost their most important players.

Also, Wenger says Bendtner and Eboue ( ) are close to leaving.

Vela also close to going out on a season long loan. Surely that means we're signing another striker. Chamakh would be our only true backup striker (though I guess Gervinho could play there too) and that is absolutely terrifying.

I'll still be excited the morning we play Newcastle, but damn it is frustrating to be an Arsenal fan right now. I know the transfer window is still open but if we don't buy anyone else...ugh. I know I'm not saying anything new but it's getting to me as more time passes. And FFS it wouldn't be the worst thing if we overpaid one time. Getting value for money is fine and good but lately it just seems like we are penny pinching. And the Cesc situation is looking bleaker and bleaker.

At this point I say go for Barton, as much as I hate to say it. It helps with the English player quota and you get him on a free transfer. What was the deal with that American trying to buy all of the shares of the club? I was hoping he would splash some cash on Arsenal for once.

This is basically the reason I'm afraid of becoming an Arsenal fan. It seems like they're always really close and they blow games or refuse to make the necessary moves to become a great team.
