Basil pesto hummus and water. Might watch some Orange is the new black, haven't decided how much I hate myself tonight...
This anecdotal example is meaningless.
I found this really funny. 10/10, would read again....

re: If you want to hear the melts from this part of the world... - americanoutlaw
For some reason, I decided to root for England during this game (probably because I knew all the players.) It was a miserable 90 minutes, I kind of understand their fans' mindset about the team. They crumbled under 50 years of poor performances....

re: Let's play a little stock up/stock down - americanoutlaw
Altidore may score 50 international goals with very few of them ever coming in major tournaments after like 2011. It's so unfortunate...

re: A soccer board referendum on Jurgen as the US' coach - americanoutlaw
No I'm just saying that none of those players would have improved our 4th place finish.
You kept saying this like this, so I'm going to rebut this in a slightly more specific way than everyone else. Colombia almost exclusively attacked Orozco's side, and it happens to be the side th...
Morris: stock up, because no logical person will ever call Wondo up again...
In a similar way, I think Altidore's has gone down due to bobby wood playing his absolute arse off ...
Amazing that this has gone two pages without a dumbass jumping in to make the point that the US will never be good at soccer until we get better athletes.
If someone made that point after watching Beckerman and wondo, I wouldn't argue with them ...

There's a Community style alternate timeline where davies is healthy and guiseppe rossi isn't a traitorous swine and we're scoring crazy amounts of goals....

re: Let's play a little stock up/stock down - americanoutlaw
Someone mentioned Zusi as stock down and I kind of agree, but I feel like it's good to bring a guy like that along in a 23 man roster. Just 1 guy like that though, not 10 like in this craptastic roster...

re: Let's play a little stock up/stock down - americanoutlaw
while they preformed really good, I expect them to be the top preformed.
After the warmup games, some people were questioning whether or not dempsey could really play in that formation without slowing the offense down. Even the best expectations wouldn't have predicted him playing ...

Guzan just never looks as commanding as Howard. I used to think all the yelling howard did at his backline was over the top, but sometimes you have to tell orozco to get back in his motherfricking spot ...
he is a poor captain and he seems to have lost his swagger.
Friend and I were discussing cameron as a captain after the Colombia game. He's locked up a spot, he plays in the team's spine, and he doesn't take shite from anyone. ...

re: Let's play a little stock up/stock down - americanoutlaw
I'd add beckerman to "never ever" simply because he's ancient. I put dempsey and jones in stock up because they reasserted themselves as absolutely essential members of the team. Jones was a damn titan and we looked horrible without him...

Let's play a little stock up/stock down - americanoutlaw
Ok so we all have opinions on the overall state of the teams and the game to game performance, but I'm curious what everyone thinks about the stock of the players and coach after these 6 games. Here's how I see it. Stock up: Brooks Johnson Cameron Jones Dempsey Wood Pulisic Besler Zarde...
I have a really bad feeling in my gut when I think about the future.
It's it because our young players' development is basically being left in the hands of their clubs? They certainly aren't playing for us or at the god damn olympics....

re: Hopefully this is Wondo's last U.S appearance - americanoutlaw
Davis was definitely terrible in that game, but I meant a game where 2 people were that level of bad. Effectively, you knew we were playing 9 on 11 as soon as the lineup was announced. Clark and Findley in '10 almost gave me an aneurysm aka Sterling Archer's #1 fear....
