Jenkinson locked up for five years.

Love it. We are set at RB for the future with he and Bellerin.

Also, Lacazette favorited a tweet linking him to Arsenal, only to later delete it. I'd quite like that pick up.

I may have missed it because I haven't looked at the transfer thread, but are you as upset as some other Arsenal fans are about "missing" on Schneiderlin?

I wanted Schneiderlin but I think eventually they want chambers to grow into that role plus the emergence of le coq makes missing out less of a loss (doesn't help though that he's going to United.)

that tweet that was sent out by ozcan earlier hinted that arsenal was going to make the "signing of the transfer window" so while I don't hold out too much hope it should be interesting to watch in the coming weeks.

Very happy we tied up Jenko.

Sad about Schniderlin going to manure. I feel like we are just a Coq injury away from getting killed on every counter again.

Would JIMP if we got Lacazette.

Man U, despite what SCH would have you believe in the transfer thread, is now in the Man City/PSG/mid 2000's Chelsea economic muscle league. And their transfer policy and spending habits the past two years haven been equivalent to those two teams at their worst. If a player wants big wages or a team wants a big transfer fee we're going to lose those battles

Might as well add current Chelsea to that list.

To be fair to Chelsea, and it makes me physically ill to say those words because Chelsea is just the worst, they've subsidized a lot of their spending the past couple of years with big sales. Mata, Luiz, Schurrle, Salah, Lukaku. I mean they're still ridiculous, and you don't have to go that far back to find 90 million, 8 player transfer windows.

At least they seem like they have a thought out calculated plan though. Man U is like a trust fund teenager spending $5000 on FUT packs hoping for an in-form Ronaldo

Not exactly. I guess you've been missing all the articles about how are spending this year has been spot on to fit LvGs plan.

Mata and Fellaini I could agree on. But ANY signings this season so far... nah.

Don't get defensive. ManU has so much money they should spend big every window. Mata and Fellaini were really good buys, along with Herrera. Shaw, the Falcao loan and Di Maria have not been wise moves. Shaw and Di Maria will likely pan out, unless ManU decides to take an absurd offer from PSG for Di Maria.

i was just disagreeing. not being defensive.

i like the mata and fellaini buys. (full disclosure, hated the fellaini buy when it happened). they did come VERY late in the transfer window and i can see how people would call those panic buys or "splurging".

if only di maria played as well as sanchez in his first season

Ozil was one for Arsenal, but when a player like that is available you take him.

When and on what channel will the Asia Trophy games be televised?

I can't find it online. I may have misread, but thought someone posted that the games would be on NBCSN.

I think tomorrow at 7:30 AM CST is the first game. The next game will be on the 18th.

I think it is going to only be on their streaming service.
