Man U, despite what SCH would have you believe in the transfer thread, is now in the Man City/PSG/mid 2000's Chelsea economic muscle league. And their transfer policy and spending habits the past two years haven been equivalent to those two teams at their worst. If a player wants big wages or a team wants a big transfer fee we're going to lose those battles

I have never said United don't spend big.

But comparing us to a team who has spent over a billion pounds on players and outspent us all time in just 7 years is a stretch. The roster needed a major overhaul and this is the final process to it.

We had an old and broken roster that needed to be fixed. SAF did the same thing going on a huge spending spree to overhaul the roster then he was done for years. But club has not changed its philosophy to like City wanting to spend 100+ every window.

Yeah, kit unveilings are starting to become pretty creepy. I read Uni-watch everyday and get really into uniforms for all sports, but these things are just odd. All of the players have to feel so awkward.

Zelalem’s ability to unlock defences is scarily good and, intriguingly, he often appears to perform better when surrounded by more senior players rather than those who are of a similar age.

Serious question: do you honestly think Cech will keep more balls out of the net than Ospina? Also when was the last time Cech got quality minutes in a PL game? Questions. Question marks. Implosion of Arsenal's psychy on the back line... Answers are needed.

He played several EPL games for Chelsea last year and actually had better goals per game record than Courtois. Ospina was a fine keeper, but he was short as hell. He didn't command his box very well and he alligator armed more than a couple of goals. Think Cech might save us around 4 goals throughout the season more than Ospina would have. Which depending on the goals in question could be invaluable points won

The third in stoppage against Monaco at The Emirates was the worst goal allowed during the entire season. We get to the final 8 in the UCL and we would have had everyone healthy. Only Barca had more points from January on.

Hopefully the young guys can pull through because I really don't want to see us play Stoke in a preseason game.

He just oozes confidence on the ball.

Hope Cech plays on Saturday.

I like them a lot. I think they will look better too when the players aren't being drenched in sweat due to the humidity in Singapore.
