Rosicky was just bad.

I didn't really get to watch it but if I'm not mistaken Wenger went back to a 4-3-3 and played Rosicky on the left, like he's been doing with Ozil.

Could it be that putting Rosicky/Ozil on the left its taking them out of position and hindering their abilities to dictate the offense?

I know this was yesterday or 2 days ago, but Monreal out until mid-October? Thought he just had a sore back...

With Per carrying a knock, hope Hayden is ready for the Subs bench. Either Bellerin or Chambers has to play at rb unless Wenger brings Coq out again.

Chambers is going to start at RB that's what he was initially signed for after all. Our defense right now is fine, it's close to our first choice defense. Just the lack of subs is dangerous. But I have more faith in Hayden, Bellerin, and Coquelin to fill in for a game or two than I did at the start of the season.

Another major injury like debuchy's would be tough to handle, but a couple of knocks like what Monreal has shouldn't be too worrisome

It's not all that different from what our D was last year.

We had our starting four (Baccy, Per, Kosc, Gibbs)
We had backups for RB (Jenko), LB (Monreal) and CB (Verm), who could cover at LB.

This year, we have our starting four (Debuchy, Per, Kosc, Gibbs).
We have backups for RB (Bellerin), LB (Monreal), and CB (Chambers), who is also our cover for RB.

Really it's faith in Bellerin. I do question loaning out Jenkinson though.

finally watched the full match of the soton match. i actually wasn't that disappointed. we didn't play great, but i thought we played them very evenly. rosicky's foul for the penalty was one of the worst i've ever seen and shocking from a vet. hayden and chambers were largely good. coquelin is probably a better utility player than flamini at this point (not saying much). love alexis, he was everywhere. poldi is hot garbage. diaby looked good, if not close to match fitness. bellerin was ok. better defensively today than offensively, strangely, though he did create a couple of dangerous moments. campbell had a gervinho-esque performance i thought. ok overall, but lacked any real quality in the final third. some of it seemed to be we just weren't on the same page. absolutely mad of AW to play Ox at RB for the last 5 mins + stoppage time when we're pressing for a goal. should've taken poldi off for akpom.

Incorrect glassman! You play one of your worst games of the season!

(But in typical Spurs fashion we make you guys look like World Cup Champions!)

Let's get this started.

Can't wait for tomorrow.

#Arsenal team to play Spurs: Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Wilshere, Arteta, Ramsey, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Welbeck

4-3-3, frick.

No Alexis, the frick? I know he played 90 this week, but that was stupid.

I trust Ox.
