I hope Diaby plays well along with all the younger guys.

I get nervous every time Diaby touches the ball and has anyone within 5 yards of him. I hope he plays well, but this game might be hard to watch. It's his first start in 500+ days, which is insane if you think about it.

I haven't seen a line up yet. I know Ozil isn't playing and I think Ramsey could use a rest as well.

These exotic sites are all blocked at work. They all get blocked as "suspicious websites."

You're over my head now haha. I work for the federal government ... their online securities are pretty nifty.

Well, can't say I'm super bummed about a league cup loss. We were probably the better side for most of it, but our defense looked scary disorganized when S'ton was on the break. I guess that's to be expected with this group, though. The young ones performed admirably I would say, and ironically it was captain Rosicky who made the bonehead foul that cost us the game. Also, the fact that Jack didn't close down that shot from distance is another reason why we lost. Glad we're out of this competition early instead of having to worry about rotation woes, but it would have been nice to use these games to get our younger guys some PT.

At least it's only the League Cup! If we win the early matches, great. If not, I'm not too bothered, honestly. It's only in the the latter stages where I tend to care more if we have a chance to make a semifinal or final.

It's hard for me to care too much knowing that only Alexis and Chambers are the only ones on the field that will actually keep their place for the NLD on Saturday. Maybe Wilshere too? I might consider playing him ahead of Rambo at this point.

A couple of quick things that stuck out to me were how poor Rosicky and Podolski played, considering they are likely starved for playing time and are two of the senior members in this squad tonight. You have to take your chances to play when given, and they simply did not do that at all. Never made a case that they deserve any more playing time than early cup games.

Thought Diaby was great, considering he hasn't played but maybe 15 minutes late at Norwich at the end of last year since tearing his ACL in March 2013. The whole argument of Rosicky and Podolski not playing well because they haven't been given much game time doesn't hold up for me when you consider that Diaby hasn't played any meaningful minutes in 18 months or so.

Overall, pretty impressed with Bellerin, Hayden, and dare I say even Coquelin?! Ospina had a couple of great saves in the second half. Was a little bit shaky for me in the first half.

We haven't lost a league game Ramsey has started since Man City in Dec of last season. I don't think benching him is a great idea

Hayden looked good. Poldi was invisible. Rosicky was just bad. Ox was a level above everyone else on the field. All those balls into the middle don't do much though if there is no one to put their head on it. Jack was pretty good.

And this was absolutely filthy

Crazy how quickly we seem to be able to frick up within like 5 minutes of each of Alexis' goals so far

Alexis is so fricking good.

Bellerin and Hayden acquitted themselves really well. Is Hayden now the 4th choice center half?

Yes it is. Can't wait for Ozil in the middle and Welbeck and Sanchez running into space. Oh and Theo after the international break.
