2016 Copa America Centenario sites announced

he host metropolitan areas and respective stadiums are: Boston (Gillette Stadium), Chicago (Soldier Field), Houston (NRG Stadium), Los Angeles (Rose Bowl), New York (MetLife Stadium), Orlando (Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium), Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field), Phoenix (University of Phoenix Stadium), San Francisco (Levi’s Stadium) and Seattle (CenturyLink Field). Similar to the FIFA World Cup, each venue will host matches on multiple days through the tournament. Most venues will host at least three games.

No Atlanta or Charlotte? Charlotte is a great soccer city....the crowd for the PSG vs Chelsea match in July was pretty good.

I think I can make one depending where the US is playing at. The lady wants to take a trip to Chicago or Boston sometime. Only shitty part about Boston is I would likely have to rent a car to go to the game or find a bus going that way.

Yes I think they will just lay sod over the turf.

Hopefully they do it earlier than the day before.

They will only do it a couple days before at max. At the Georgia Dome Gold Cup game, I am pretty sure they put down the grass on Monday for a Wednesday game. Most of the venues use the facility a lot more than just for football games.
