1. No shite. Most of us having been saying that since atleast 2014 and some wise pt board posters have been saying that since day 1.

2. Europe needs to get its shite together or fight its own damn wars for oil/gas.

3. Why can't the Quatar pipeline run across SA, under the Red Sea, across Egypt, and then under the Med to Europe?

And neverending war in Syria might prevent both pipelines.

Exactly

Yet we get called tinfoilers while the others blindly agree with and regurgitate whatever the media/politicians tell them is the case

Hey, that's a good question!

Because the pipeline reduction isn't a sufficient explanation for the Syrian War. I've written about it for a while, but there are numerous options open for the Qatari's other than funding a war, a war which coincidentally has disrupted the Arab Oil pipeline.

One option could be to use another route, another could be to use Iranian infrastructure (as the Gulf Arabs aren't a monolithic group, as there is a major KSA-Qatar rivalry that isn't covered by the Western press, and Qatar is keeping its options open with regards to Iran and the South Pars/North Dome field). It makes no sense to fund a war for the sole purpose of building a pipeline.

A pipeline into Europe is well worth the millions funneled to proxy groups in syria.

Those same groups have effectively shut down the Arab Oil pipeline in West Syria.

Why wouldn't proxy groups for Iran and Iraq attempt to shut down any Gulf Arab pipeline in the future?

Engage in an uncontrollable civil war or build an LNG export facility (or use the existing one!). In this case, yeah, follow the money!

Nothing is better for a massive, vulnerable infrastructure project than total regional chaos!

Do me a favor. research how much oil we get from Syria. I'm thinking we are not starting or involved in international incidents because of the oil we get from Syria.
