I read on this board all the time how much people dislike the Left Coast....have we reached the point of splitting up?

I'd pay extra taxes for a year to get that leach of a state removed from the rest of us, but "Honest" Abe fricked that idea up for everyone.

I have often thought the South should be allowed to secede....the views, values, ways of life are different than other areas.

You need your face punched until you are no longer recognizable.

I would fight you if you said this to me IRL.

There is no argument against secession that is not also an argument for absolute tyranny. So I'm glad I know where you stand.

frick the union, Abraham Lincoln, and civil war apologists on either side.

Umm the dems don't want to lose the 55 electoral votes

They wouldn't lose that many. 53 of the 55 EVs would be divided up among the remaining states so the blue states would get a chunk of those. The Democrats would easily be able to move to a reasonable, moderate position on social issues with the left coast gone, and they'd be able to compete in red states again.

The irony is if the SJW and religious right types followed that advice, we wouldn't need to talk about ___exit.

Thinking of the future, I welcome a California exit. This would be a huge step in the direction of acknowledging the intended structure of the Union as a Federal Republic and not a Democracy. The potential dominoes to fall subsequently are too good to pass up.

Thinking of the past I must admit that this notion stokes resentments that it is not politically acceptable to possess. If this is talked about around the water cooler as a sincere notion then the Left is showing its arse. That is 150 years of moral superiority based on lies and manipulation. A serious question without ire, how are your coworkers handling the mental gymnastics required to produce such amazing hypocrisy?

What exactly has the "religious right" forced on anybody in the last 40 years?

Cali is a shitshow. You can have it.

Used to be a bad arse state.

I used to love being a native but it's a foreign country now. Full of mentally ill liberals.
