I believe it propagates bad decision making and terminates an innocent human life.

I also recognize the latter is more of a religious reason and don't want my religious beliefs put into legislation.

First, it kills a human being. That's scientifically proven.

Second, I've personally witness several outcomes (and within family) of abortion and having the baby. Having the baby wins hands down. The outcomes from having the baby are not only healthy for the baby but for the mother too and the extended family and friends.

Personally me being against it doesn't mean I have the right to tell women what to do.

My solution put it up for a vote by all the women in the country and the result becomes the law.

It's more of a personal responsibility thing for me that just happens to involve a "potential" human life. Just seems cruel and inhumane to dispose of a separate living creature with it's own DNA that didn't choose to exist.

A proposal I'm for, but will never happen is:

A woman gets one "freebie" abortion if it was a willing pregnancy, meaning the woman freely engaged in sex and wasn't forced.

If she gets pregnant a second time, she can either have the child or have an abortion, but if she chooses abortion then that's it, she is fixed for life.

First and foremost, it is legalized murder of a human being. People who try to justify it by saying its not a human being disgust me.

Secondly, abortion is the ultimate narcissistic outcome. Women who choose abortion are only thinking of themselves. "I don't want a baby right now," "I can't afford a baby right now," - all narcissistic "Its all about me" traits.

Narcissism is the worst trait in a human being.

If it's "a separate living creature with it's own DNA" and the DNA is human then it's not a "potential" human life it's an actual human life.

I am 100% per cent in favor of a woman's right to choose. No man should be able to dictate to a woman, esp. some stranger.

Was it rape?
If she allowed the unprotected sex(you banging her and finishing inside her) I'd say you have a hell of alot of say in things after that.

yep its a personal responsibility thing not a religious thing or what you feel is right thing, Someone does not have to live a certain way because you feel its wrong. Finally is it your baby or your body, nope so shut the f up and another reason why the GOP blows, just another way to alienate and polarize women LOL

Shouldn't a man then have at least one opportunity to opt out or abort his financial obligation to the child?

The woman gets an opportunity to opt out or abort her responsibility, so isn't unfair to not give the male the same opportunity?

Well, inasmuch as this appears to be Abortion Day on the Poliboard I think I'm going to have to take a break.
