But if the Thought Police want to be consistent - they will also need to go after the likes of Florida State (Seminoles), and Notre Dame (Fighting Irish), and ULL (Ragin' Cajuns), and Cleveland (Indians), and New York (Yankees), and USC (Trojans), and... so many mascot names out there oppressing regions, people, and groups! So much injustice to overcome!
In fact, maybe a good name change for this franchise would be the Washington Thought Police.

Geez, and I thought it was an honor that was bestowed upon my people.
I want the team mascot changed to a potato and the name changed to the Notre Dame Fighting Famines.
