Well. It didn't "fall".

I'd also like to know if, when she flies, she operates a plane that allows cargo entry from the rear?
Well that did it, we probably drove away the little estrogen we had in the Poli board.

Interesting point considering my fear comes from being a passenger in a small private plane that very nearly hit a mountain during take off from Taos.

Jbird & Settle are on a roll.

I'm hearing some 70s bow chicka wow wow music and visualizing a naked guy still wearing black socks. The only way it could get better if was Rudy Ray Moore humming those words with his hat and pimp cane.

I went to F-4 RTU with Dean Martin's son Deano. That was back when he was married to Dorothy Hamill. Deano flew phantoms for the March Guard, which was "The Guard of the Stars." One day he was flying the SID outta March and was still in the weather when he drove into the San Bernadino Mts at 350kts. They were still in the weather. They're flying along inside a giant ping pong ball and suddenly everything goes black. Now THAT's the way to go.

I remember that. What year was that? Early 80's? I remember reading that really did his Dad in. He never got over that apparently.

Yeah from what I understand he was a good dude, couple of my buddies flew RF4-Cs during Desert Storm, they always said he was a good Bubba.

I'll just say it was an ugly outcome for all who were involved and leave it at that.

I only take it when I fly and I have an established history with my doctor. I keep 30 on hand in case of emergency but he usually gives me 6-8 milligrams per round trip. Takes 3-4 mg to fly if there isn't a layover. I basically buckle up and sleep until we land.

I don't drink, sleep, or take medication when I fly. I also wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy footwear. I want to be prepared

new info on flight path

Article says not a terrorist attack but why would a plane be hundreds of miles off course without the transponder on?

Thats actually a few days old... They have said for a while that the last time they had contact, the flight at turned and was 100 miles off course.

It really makes no sense.

Question for the aviation people out there. How difficult is it for someone to turn off transponder and any other equipment that would allow communication/tracking? I know they'd have to fly under radar to be completely invisible, but what about the other stuff?

As far as the dual transponders, about as hard as turning your tv off.

Note just saw on the OT that this military radar theory has holes as well

Another report has an oil rig seeing it crash

It's Almost like let's throw up 100 theories and see which one sticks

Well the radar coverage in that part of the world isn't the best. Radio communications are tough as well, I am sure some of that played into this mystery.
