I never stated my opinion on the matter. I only said his own assertions are hardly proof of anything, as you claimed.

This is like a former military member with a post service mental or physical disorder getting offended because the military doesn't accept people with preexisting mental or physical disorders. This person's lack of ability to comprehend that is just further evidence of their ongoing disorder.

That first pic he was clearly already a transgendered person while serving and receiving the "treatment".
But for real, if you have to receive any type of long term medical treatment (like transgender since they mutilate themselves and require drugs be pumped into them) and are on medications, then the military has always not allowed these people in.
Why should transgendered people get preferential treatment over someone who may be on medications and have a medical condition that requires long term attention?

This SEAL is entitled to express an opinion.
That said, the BEST INTERESTS OF THE SERVICE are paramount on this and all other issues. The Commander in Chief has determined that it is in the best interests of the Service to exclude Transgendered individuals, regardless of their phase of transition.
This policy will change the moment that the eGOP and Dems can unseat Trump.

I'm not 100% familiar with transgender operations but even if you had the surgery before dont you require routine hormone therapy? That would require not just funding treatment but training and equipping forward deployed personnel and facilities.
And if you have yet to have any operation or treatment but just identify as something other than what you are you are just lying. Why confuse doctors and other support staff with a "whatever the frick I want" option for gender. Your anatomy is your anatomy, it's falsifying a government document to identify as something else.
A naval destroyer has no medical officer, it has an enlisted corpsman (medic) with a closest size room and supplies. They are not equipped or trained to handle complications of hormone treatments. And if a person is only capable of certain "cush " military gigs why the frick are you even in the military?
If you want free anatomy alteration for citizens try and pass a bill making that it's own social program. Don't bog down the military to try and make it a social welfare program and take away resources from military members suffering from actual military related injuries or stress.
