Why not just cut current military spend by 10% instead? I'm sure there is 10% of military waste we can eliminate?

Just more stupidity from him. Our military budget is already out of control.

Trump supporters elected someone who had no concrete plans. I hope you like surprises.

I'll take his no plans over Hillary's plans for war with Russia.

It's fun watching the sheep go from "MAGA!! SO MUCH WINNING!" to "Eh, he's better than Hillary"

Because that was part of his platform he ran on. It's in part why I voted for him.
Our Nuclear weapons (that's helped hold the peace from major wars) are falling apart while North Korea and Iran are on the verge of having them. Russia is rebuilding theirs.
This isn't a hard concept. a stalemate is not a bad thing.

Retired from the AF in 2013, defense spending must be increased.

We're not going to like everything, some things we will hate. This is one of them. But, we knew this was coming as he campaigned hard on it.

I just wish they'd cut the waste first. Military procurement is the most miserably inefficient thing I've ever dealt with.

If I'm not mistaken, our nuclear program actually falls under the department of energy, not the department of defense. So 10% increase to the defense department is not going to the nuclear program.

Do you believe that Russia hacked our election? If so, you are engaging in the same tomfoolery that you claim to despise.
Goodness, Hillary supporters are such hypocrites.

So 10% increase in military spending, increased infrastructure spending, tax cuts, and no change to entitlement spending?

Fine. Transfer some money from buying weapons systems that we don't need and the guys with boots on the ground don't want and spend that money on modernizing our nuclear capability. Expanding the arsenal is stupid and not necessary.
