It's ridiculous.

It's approaching an abomination.

There should be a 10% budget cut across the board. Or go back to a 2008 budget as a baseline. I'd be good with either.

Because Obama let our military crumble to a sad state while managing to blow all that money in the annual budget. It's going to take more money to get us back to where we need to be. It wouldn't take that much happening for us to simultaneously be in a war with Russia and China. We are relying on 50 and 60 year old planes in some instances, and both Russia and China have main battle tanks on par or better than our latest iteration of the gulf war era tanks. Considering that the military is one of the few things the federal government is actually supposed to be spending money on I have no problem with it.
