re: The problem with illegal immigration explained as if you were 5 years old (or a liberal)

You do realize there is a perfectly legal process for doing so. In fact, hundreds of thousands of people do so every year. Don't cut in line.

The liberals will chime in that the no tax saga can be solved by legalizing them. Then what do you say?
No problem. Get in line behind the last person going thru the process of becoming a citizen legally.

So simple 5 year olds can understand it, but not liberals.
Let me ask you a question, how much do you think 24/7 mounted gun turrets and patrolling a border wall that would theoretically need to span a nearly 2000 mile border would cost? Not just to build, but to maintain on an annual basis?
The problem with the immigration discussion is that Trumpkins have taken the most ridiculous and retarded positions toward dealing with it.
Focusing almost exclusively on the human predisposition toward punishment and vengeance and all but ignoring any rationality and empathy.

A lot less than paying for free housing, welfare, municipal services, and healthcare for all of those people.
However, I agree that some rediculous Maginot Line is completely unnecessary. All we have to do is quit paying them to be here, quit allowing employers to get away with exploiting them at the expense of the American citizen worker, and they'll leave on their own. Those who really want to be here will come in legally.

We have a legal process that is in desperate need of reform. When you have mass unchecked illegal immigration and an enormous negative fiscal impact as a result, your "legal process" is fricking broken.

I'm not sure the guy advocating recreating the Battle of the Somme on our Southern border should accuse others of Fascism.
The fact you equate border security with fascism tells me you are clueless on both subjects.

No, your border security and immigration law enforcement are broken. Not your legal process.

I didn't equate border security with fascism. I equated your idea of trenching the Southern border with fascism.

Semantics. The immigration system is broken and spending hundreds of million dollars to build a 2000 mile fort on the border isn't going to fix it.

alt right racist pieces of shite
Oh look, another liberal pulling out the race card and calling people racist when race has nothing to do with the argument. It's hard to not think that liberals are the true racists since they have to throw out race whenever they disagree with someone.
If you think conservatives would not care about uneducated, unskilled white people coming to this country and leeching off the government, then you are just fooling yourself.

Seems to me we might be better off enforcing a mandatory e-verify system for all employers, and fund more resources to oversee and make sure companies aren't cheating.
This would probably be the most effective method of deterring illegal immigration along with high enough fines for the companies to make it financially unviable to keep employing illegals. If it is difficult to find work and they are not allowed to leech off the government, the number of illegals would likely drop significantly.
But as MasterAg mentioned, too many politicians are being paid off by the large companies & lobbyists to actually make this change. Democrats want to keep a steady increase of new voters for their plantation as well.

i guarantee you that if employers paid americans what they should be paid to do low skilled labor, you wouldn't need any illegals
just curious, but what effect do you think that would have on the costs of goods and services? meaning, do you think that once we start paying more for American workers, stuff is going to cost less, more, or stay the same?

You realize a wall just traps the 11 million or so illegals inside right?
But anyways, it seems like you recognize a better way forward so at least there is that.

There is a lot that is factually wrong with this. Things don't actually work like that, but don't let that stop you from piling on with the lies.

I think the big issue is not only is the Juan dude not taxed, he is not spending money here. It's leaving our economy.

Huh? Does Juan drive over the border every time he needs to buy some milk? Gas? See a movie? Drink a beer at a bar?
Thats one of the glaring things that low-IQ graphic misses, Juan is in the country, paying sales taxes, and of the 11.1 million here, roughly 8 million are employed, and roughly 3.4 million pay taxes every year. Taxes they may never be able to or will collect on. Like Social Security or Medicare taxes they won't qualify for.

His accountant is also ripping him off because the math doesn't add up in pretty much any state.

Then how does him and his family eat, get around and have a place to live. They don't send all their money home.
I'm for stricter immigration but don't be absurd.
