What amazing timing. Just in time to deflect from domestic democrat terrorists.

What Comey did in the Clinton server investigation should have had him died and charged on the spot
That's weird. Senator Jeff Sessions called Comey's actions brave and patriotic.
And Sessions is now Attorney General.

After Comey specifically said Trump didn't obstruct anything this story comes out today. Not convenient or anything.
Wut?
Comey testified that he interpreted Trump's statements as an order to end a federal investigation into Flynn. That's obstruction territory

Trump should come out and say he has no problem with the SC and he needs to go where the evidence takes him, but if the leaks don't stop, he will fire him.

The SP was created to investigate a) Russia/collusion and b) Mike Flynn. This obstruction investigation almost certainly stems from Trump trying to get Comey to shut down the Flynn investigation.

Timing is everything.

It almost certainly stems from bullshite so that the dems can still say "under investigation".

He also said that it was within the President's authority to issue such an order. So, if it was within his authority and Coney saw it as an order, why didn't he follow that order? And, why didn't he report it?
Simple, because it wasn't an order and Comey lied.

No troll, serious question. Which i know doesnt go over well here, but i'll try anyway.
My understanding if executive authority is that directing the fbi on investigations to pursue is completely withing the presidents rights. Just as he could have preemptively pardoned Flynn and ended the need for any investigation to flynn himself right there.
I also understand that there are general guidelines of decorum they usually follow, under which the president directly telling comey was not kosher. Typically the AG or assistant AG would have those convos with FBI director.
So while not entirely kosher, its not a criminal act. Am i missing a peice of legalesse info somewhere? Real talk.

Trump's next Order should be to AG Sessions; to convene a Grand Jury to investigate Comey's handling of the Hillary/Lynch Obstruction of Justice. The best defense is a good offense.

Let me explain this clearly, for the last damn time, the Prez can tell the DOJ/FBI who to investigate or not investigate. If Trump told Comey to let this thing go, but continued to fund and let Comey continue with the investigation that is not obstruction. The fact that Mueller or his team of Dem Lawyers leaked this to the WAPO is no coincidence especially after Sessions testimony yesterday.

quote:Because the technically legal order would result in an unlawful act.
So, if it was within his authority and Coney saw it as an order, why didn't he follow that order? And, why didn't he report it?
Because there was just one instance that could not be corroborated.

The swamp hatched this plan up when Trump drained one of their biggest frogs.
I guess this thread explains a lot about how so many around here buy into things like Seth Rich so quickly.
Everything just has to be a grand conspiracy that victimizes Trump or their team and shifts blame outward.
No possibility that a highly respected Republican, hired by a Trump appointee, with a decade of experience, has a justifiable reason to investigate this. It just has to be the shadowy swamp monster trying to sully our pure of heart president.

So we're opening an investigation based on a disgruntled fired employee's FEELINGS now?!
Comey is an attorney and former prosecutor- he knows what obstruction is. If it was obstruction, he would've definitively said it was. Instead, he said he couldn't say.
And Ironically enough, he didn't say that he interpreted Lynch's statements as an order...Or that her email was obstruction of justice, but they most certainly were. Oh yeah and he actually FOLLOWED her order.

There's also nothing new in the story, just repackaged information from last week.
