McCarthy & the dipshit Graves killed Scalise's shot so that McCarthy would be sworn back in as Speaker next week. Jordan doesn't have the votes either.

McCarthy and crew are convinced if they kill everyone's shot that he will be sworn in again.

I don’t see McCarthy being welcomed back in. Especially after Paul Ryan had Fox News try to blame Gaetz et all for the Israel attacks by removing McCarthy.

He lost, but it wasn't by much. I think it was really only between him and Scalise, so if Scalise drops out and there is no one else running I would think he gets it be default.

You mean he would get the nomination by default? I don't know if that's true or not, but if so, I doubt Jim has a path to 217. He received less nominating votes than Scalise.

This is why people such as Lisa Murkowski are so despised by people outside Alaska.

Murkowski has a 46% approval rating in Alaska. She’s not popular. Thank ranked choice voting

That's because Scalise had his wing of support. That does not mean those Reps won't throw their support to Jordan. Yall are confusing votes here.

When it's just Jordan then it is most likely that all Rs will vote for him.

If these are all true, I can 100% understand why Gaetz wants gridlock in electing the new SOH

Gatez was ok with Scalise

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) celebrated the House GOP’s nomination of Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) for Speaker on Wednesday.

“I’m excited for him,” Gaetz told reporters. “I can’t wait to go vote for Steve Scalise. Long live Speaker Scalise.”

Isn't Jim Jordan running?

It's not that nobody wants the job, it's that because of the shitbag republicans in the house, only a shitbag leftist can get elected SOH, and only so many of them are willing to be outed a shitbag leftist, marxist democrat caputulating, America last republicans.

So Jordan's on deck? He already lost, right?

Jordan may not be the savior. But nobody has lost. The next speaker will be the one that can get to 217.

The job should stay vacant before they ever let Mc Carthy take it back. He was the one that made it go so many ballots til they got tired and just gave him the job to begin with.

He was so desperate that he made a bunch of promises he never intended to keep, and it bit him in the arse.

There are very few things I wouldn't do to get Trump as SOH. I don't care how effective he would be. I want the entertainment, and I want to watch the weak melt.
