Actual house committee hearings with subpoena power over humans and records is supposed to be one of the few checks and balances in our government that actually works

NOT show trials like J6 committee, I’m talking the actual work of the House in standing committees such as judiciary, oversight, etc etc.

Remember The House controls the purse strings of the three letter agencies, they can make them answer questions they want answered under oath

He can then try to paint Gaetz and then as extremists who wouldn’t work with him no matter how much he conceded.

Except he hasn't conceded anything. No one votes Republican to have them act like Democrats.

Sure.

And in a fantasy utopian land filled with unicorns I would agree with you.

The fact is that nothing Congress or it’s committees does that is televised is real. No, endless investigations over Hunter Biden, etc is not what we should want Congress to do

You see, there are two chambers in the legislative branch. The Senate, AKA, the upper chamber. And the House, AKA, the lower chamber.

The House votes on the speaker position. Not the Senate.

Seems like if McCarthy doesn't get elected which unfortunately probably will happen but if it doesn't it's looking like Andy Biggs or Jim Jordan.

Gaetz sitting by Biggs.

No way they don't have something worked out, right?

Kevin needing to reassure the FBI will be properly investigated. Will he?

Or will he be cocky laughing like yesterday because they had Hannity and Newt pearl clutch?
