Not a single charge will ever be brought against Trump. If you bitches had something, you'd have used it a longtime ago. Keep clinging to that hope, otto.

I am disappointed in Massie, Jordan & MTG for voting for Mc. I especially like Massie.

I’m disappointed that AL is not represented in the dissent. I had hopes for Palmer, but he just talks a good game.

I think many GOPers were caught off guard on the amount of folks digging in and refusing to consider McCarthy. You might see more and more vote flips as this goes on as they realize now might be a time where a real change can be made.

I think most folks like MTG hate McCarthy but think that is the best we can do at this point as there is little hope to get enough votes for someone better.

I’m convinced that’s over 95% of them.

McCarthy is going to have to support the America First policy demands and investigations or he is toast.

CSPAN reporting GOP leaders want to adjourn for the day (and subsequently conference).
Whether or not that happens will depend on what the Dems want to do.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe it’s 218 as long as the Dems vote. If they were to vote present, I believe the threshold lowers.

So there may be a world where McCarthy can cut a deal with the Dems to vote present, get his majority of votes, and assume the Speakership.

Which would be a total frick you to the Freedom Caucus and hilarious to watch unfold

This is a cluster lol

Can 6 Repubs vote for Jefferies and then in couple weeks, find that commonly liked minority leader and have a floor vote to toss Jeffries ?

I mean…Repubs have the votes so no Dem bill could pass so, there would be no “harm”
