You'd rather play with the lives of billions and stand for nothing in the process.

Isn't it awesome that our last two presidents did literally nothing about this growing problem.

China to give the green light

SK doesn't appear to believe that there is a conflict right now, either

What do you advocate since we have had 60 years of negotiations with this crazy regime and none of it has worked? You have China/Russia using NK to exploit the US/Australia/NZ/Japan/South Korea/Taiwan defenses both militarily and economically.

Who benefits more when NK pushes these military advances? China does because businesses leave SK and Japan for China because of perceived military instability.

I didn't say it had to be unilaterally. We're getting closer to the point where unilateral action might be necessary unfortunately and we've had decades to deal with this by applying pressure to China.

We are going to have to hit them and do it now. They now have an ICBM and will not hesitate to nuke Alaska Japan and SK.

Unfortunate but unavoidable.

For a half million South Korean folk to make their peace with the Good Lord, and prepare to meet their Maker?

Not even Trump can pull the (pre-emptive) trigger on this one. Book it...they are laying down the future for China; such being the big time ARMING of Japan and SK if they don't shut Fatboy down.

You don't threaten to do a thing.

Unless you plan to do a thing.

The Donald made a few threats. When he fails to follow up...and he will...NK will do what they always do...recognize that the US isn't going to do jack and proceed to arm their toy missiles with nukes.

Maybe the next time the Donald announces an armada is on the way to confront the NKs...he should probably make sure they actually are. This is the part of becoming isolated that he should have thought through better. All the bad kids on the block notice when the world leader has taken his ball and gone home and act accordingly.

Their toy missiles are getting close. The test they just completed the trajectory went straight up (1700 miles) and down for 37 minutes.

If it was flying at a normal trajectory, It would have gone 4000 miles. That is Anchorage territory.
Another 500 miles or so and it could hit Honolulu. Now the question is can they mount a 1400 lb. nuclear warhead and launch it that far?

Exactly.

If we are going to act. Now is the time.

But like Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, etc...we will sit back and wait for China to do something about them.

Soon it will be too late.

Until the NK attack us we should do nothing since the South Koreans don't seem bothered.

We should let the Japanese rearm and tell them and the South Koreans to handle their own defense .

No more Americans should die over those conflicts.

We are waiting for millions of South Korean civilians to leave everything they have and evacuate South Korea . After that we are waiting for the two million body bag order and then preparing for all the unintended consequences regarding China . Once all that and fifty other things are resolved, it's ON.
Don't forget the 29,000 American Troops stationed in SK.

If you do this you do it right. NK has been overplanned till the cows come home. You start by sending a very strident message to whom it may concern...mobilization. Start railing armor to debarkation points and see how fast the Chinese come around , or don't.
