We are waiting for millions of South Korean civilians to leave everything they have and evacuate South Korea . After that we are waiting for the two million body bag order and then preparing for all the unintended consequences regarding China . Once all that and fifty other things are resolved, it's ON.

Well, tell 'em to get a move on. Don't they know they are causing the OP some minor distress?

God this would be so much easier if NK was just an island in the middle of nowhere

It's not really Japan's responsibility either . North Korea is a Chinese client State . They are the only player with sufficient power to deal with this.

"Always have to bring up Obama." Maybe he can borrow Obama's "Red line"....or give them billions to stop. AKA help fund their program. You're such a tool.

Waiting on China to tell them to chill the frick out.

Which they won't do, apparently. So idk what we're waiting on. Y'all think the ME was a powder keg, can't wait to see what war with NK will be.

US officials just confirmed it was indeed an ICBM. I don't advocate war but time is starting to run out here where we can do something without North Korea being a threat to mainland US.

I feel bad for S Korea and I think we should defend them vigorously but we can't let their problem turn into our problem. N Korea can't be allowed to have an icbm. As soon as we think they are close it is time for war. It would be terrible but what other option do we have? Just hope the problem goes away? We've done that with all of our other problems and it'd be irresponsible for us to do it with this one.

He's not an idiot. He's just expressing a common frustration. It's horrible that North Korea still exists. It just doesn't seem like it's still plausible and the OP , spurred on that NK missilery is advancing, is expressing that . I share his frustration.

South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan have to flex their muscle first which will happen the second that NK with China's approval pushes the envelope again. Once those two countries build up their military strength tuen it's on which is not what the Chinese want. Trump can impose economic incentives to move manufacturing out of China too.
