maybe idiot was harsh.

but when you ask 'what are we waiting for'

the context of that is war.

any first strike on NK will result in the immediate and horrible death of millions in SK in addition to what 40k US troops.

so either we kill million in NK by an all out attack on their military command and control, bases and installations

or millions die in retaliatory strikes to SK

now I ask, frick your frustrations, leadership is dealing with millions of lives, and couch generals want to just push the button.

its asinine.

Trust me , I know all about the risks. Seoul of course would be evacuated to below shelling range so the S Korean dead would be far, far lower . Of course a major country would be completely knocked off the grid . And most importantly there is no way to know how China would react long term. It's a problem without a solution, other than a coup and an end to that monstrous family.

As to all your anger at the OP- Everybody is not as informed as you are. My point in defending the OP is just that he may just be venting . You have undoubtably done the same at some point. We all have this desire to correct the worst wrongs in the world , and we vent when things seem hopeless. No need to get so personal . Maybe try persuasion instead of assholery.

Seoul would be leveled within minutes of an attack on NK

After NK crumbles SK would have to assimilate millions of brainwashed, poverty stricken people into their society

Not to mention the waste of lives and American money

No more useless wars. Stop trying to have a dick measuring contest. Let China, Japan, and SK sort this one out.

Other than ICBM's which we have the capability to intercept, there is no threat to our soil from NK

People advocating for war against NK are even dumber than those who wanted war with Iraq

We are waiting for millions of South Korean civilians to leave everything they have and evacuate South Korea . After that we are waiting for the two million body bag order and then preparing for all the unintended consequences regarding China . Once all that and fifty other things are resolved, it's ON.

Another war sounds great! More American lives lost and a huge amount of money flushed down the drain. It's scary how people want to go to war after seeing the crap we are still dealing with in the middle east. Keep our asses out of there unless there is truly no other choice.

Sounds like Cruiserhog would prefer to take an ICBM up the arse unannounced. Typical libtard response.

General Grant said something like "War is very exciting for those who don't lose friends."

Most of these badass posters want to sit back and drink a beer while teenagers and people in their 20s sacrifice their lives for a cause that might not be worth it.

Their toy missiles are getting close. The test they just completed the trajectory went straight up (1700 miles) and down for 37 minutes.

If it was flying at a normal trajectory, It would have gone 4000 miles. That is Anchorage territory.
Another 500 miles or so and it could hit Honolulu. Now the question is can they mount a 1400 lb. nuclear warhead and launch it that far?

That's not how long range ballistic missles work. If you want to hit the US from Nk. You have to get that warhead up into space first then allow the trajectory to bring it down. The Pacific is a big pond. The missle they tested yesterday could hit anything in South Korea and southern Japan.

North Korea is a Chinese client State . They are the only player with sufficient power to deal with this.

China has nothing to gain by reigning in Notth Korea. As long as NK doesn't start a war China is completely fine with the United States devoting time and resources on the Northbound korean's. We could turn this into an advantage for us by encouraging the Japanese and South Koreans to increase the size of their militaries and improve them technologically. China would very much hate to see a Japan and SK with strong missile defenses and Air Forces.
