I know that. I just enjoy people who say,"SINCE WHEN CAN THE GOVERNMENT TELL ME WHAT I CAN HAVE?!"

Um... Since always, idiot.

No, just pointing out that your internet tough talk sounded rather silly.

"Pack a lunch, because it's gonna be a long day"

Come on man, are you from an episode of CSI?

I think everyone who posts here with the possible exception of Ralph Wiggum will agree that the gubment abuses this authority.

There are apparently quite a few people here who are just fine with government abuse of its authority.

Otherwise we wouldn't have these idiots who don't know what a "right" is.

On some issues, I'm sure. Social conservatives and liberals are two sides of the same coin.

Oh, absolutely. See: War on Drugs.

But as evinced by this thread, there are also people that see abuses of authority that aren't there. I'm fine with government limiting some weapons.

When we're talking about personal firearms, I don't think there's a difference.

I'm fine with the rules on those as they are. They're loose as hell now. You basically just can't have a fully automatic weapon.

Wow, I'm hurt.

As demonstrated by your postings here, you wouldn't know what a right is if it bit you on your pathetic statist arse.

Reasonable fears drive basically every law. It's not irrational to not want people running around with automatic weapons.
