I'm guessing That it doesn't fit the far right narrative that he's not involved.
I do not believe there will be evidence found that links President Obama directly. I believe he is carefully insulated from this.
Valerie Jarrett? Not so much.

Listen, the IRS broke the law by destroying evidence in an ongoing investigation. Then they failed to inform the investigators that they lost the evidence for over 3 months. This isn't just "oh silly us" it's a pattern of lies.

I don't think anybody really believes the president was directly involved. He could have been but it's a dumb narrative. The more plausible is that his administration was pushing the IRS to get aggressive with non profits. You have to understand this was after the 2010 midterm where they got smashed by these conservatives. This was a huge threat going into 2012.
Now, I think everyone wants this judge to get the 3rd party providers records and locate all the correspondence from that phone.

Well we are on the same page then. My overall point is Valerie Jarrett is not the puppet master as everyone seems to suggest.
And Obama is much more involved, especially in the political operations and/or in political paybacks then many people think.
If this didn't go into the White House, Lois Lerner would have been pushed under the bus months ago.
This president, if he was a. Republican, would have been hounded by the press and probably would have had to resign by now.
These liberals mindset remember is, Our ideas are worthy and no matter by what means, we must achieve our goals for the good of mankind. THESE PEOPLE ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS.

Lerner's Blackberry "Wiped clean" after launch of congressional investigation
Most corporate cell phones won't keep 3-4 years worth of e-mails and it is standard practice to destroy / wipe the drives when the phones are recycled. Current best practice is to keep a minimum amount of e-mails (1-2 weeks) on a cell phone.
All of her e-mails will likely be recovered and the only thing we will discover is that she was a complete waste of payroll... which won't come as a shock to anyone. But don't let me stop the circle jerk.

So you saying that her emails would be stored other places than her hard drive and the 90 day server
What a load of crap

In my experience with corporate investigations, once you are informed of an investigation, NOTHING is deleted, destroyed, recycled, etc. Nothing. Ever. If for no reason other than to add credibility to allegations and to ensure LACK of producable docs doesn't prevent the company from proving innocence.

quote:An investigation wouldn't require the preservation of old cell phones. The e-mails would be required to be retained as of the receipt of the court order / actionable notice. Private corporations use corporate retention policies to destroy as much history as possible moreso than to retain everything.

if this was regular litigation, it would lead to severe sanctions in discovery. remember: the destruction was AFTER notice of the investigation
at that point, retention is not based in "standard practices"
