And here in lies the real issue. They were supposed to. In light of an investigation, where congress asked them to secure this type of info, they should have...........but didn't. It isn't "just" a phone. It's a hand held computer and would have had copies of her email independently. For whatever reason, they did not transfer all this data to the new phone which is also kinda odd.

No, I agree he's behind it. What I'm saying is there is no paper or electronic trail, or even eyewitness testimony that he came out and said do this.
He's too smart to do that. I'm sure what he did was whine about the Tea Party enough in meetings with Lerner that she picked up on what he wanted done, without having been told outright to do it.
They figure with the media on their side, they'll be able to run the clock out on this.
Oh and I agree with you on that he's not checked out. He knows exactly what he's doing on the international scene. He wants the U.S. to have a smaller footprint globally, and by procrastinating and sending mixed messages he's accomplishing that.
Egypt and the UAE just bombed Tripoli, without telling the US about it first. That's unheard of. But they don't trust this Administration, so they went ahead and bombed away.
And with all of his equivocating who can blame them?

Z STREET, an Israeli advocacy group, filed suit against the IRS in 2010, all records of any kind after this suit was filled is subject to recovery and any records done away from that point on can be deemed obstruction of justice for the most part.

Why wasn't the data transferred to the new phone? That is usually the first thing someone requests be done, especially true for department heads. It takes very little time or effort. NVM, nothing to see here.

Smoking gun in the sense that evidence was purposely destroyed AFTER the launch of a congressional investigation. Evidence that has only been revealed through separate court declarations where IRS agents where forced to submit under oath. For some reason, these revelations where withheld during congressional inquiry. But I'm sure its all still one big huge coincidedinky. Everything is on the up and up.
