Wow.
I've always seriously doubted this went all the way to Obama. However, they really are going a LONG way to protect an IRS employee. This has to go to someone in the WH (ahem, Valerie).

The BES has the functionality of consistently backing up your entire phone so that if there is a failure, they can restore an image of it to a new one as if nothing happened. I would like to know exactly how they implemented BES. We already know that everything that was sent and received from the mail server was first copied and retained in BES.

Well, the actual targeting may have not involved Obama or the cabinet, however possibly the coverup?

Remains to be seen if the old adage "It's not the crime, it's the coverup" is still true.
It was true in the 70s because the media hated Nixon with the passion of 1000 suns.
They'll insist that Obama had nothing to do with this even if there is footage of Obama holding up two forms of ID and a DNA test while personally ordering various government agencies to target organizations like True The Vote.

Yup yup. We shut ours down not long ago (did away with providing folks BB's because they treated them like a Section 8 home). That her phone was wiped with an investigation already in progress is fricking HUGE!!
This shows a purposeful attempt to destroy data. There more than likely has to be some sort of worklog ticket with info on who authorized this and why. The fan is about to be hit, big-time.

I'm waiting to see the paper-trail on this.
Why did she get a new BB? Did the old one die? Who authorized her to get the new one or did she have final approval on the purchase? Where's the IT worklog ticket on this?
These are all things that can be found fairly easily and should end up coming out soon-ish.

i had my iphone "wiped clean" like 10 times for various reasons when I was at my last job. Didn't lose a single e-mail, because it all resided on an exchange server.

If anyone knew anything about this and mentioned it to him, they should be fired. It would be pure stupidity to take away deniability. I say it's Jarrett and he didn't know/care until it was unavoidable.

She will argue through lawyers that she went through the proper channels which I believe maybe true. But this could lead to a conspiracy probe regarding a cover up.

Obama doesn't strike me as a detail-oriented guy on anything but basketball. Instead, he'll act like the fricking King of Siam and declare that because he wants it done, etc., etc., etc., it WILL be done.
