I'm pretty much over them. Between sessions hard-on for drugs, mandatory minimums, and civil asset forfeiture and the total ineptness of this Congress (no tax reform or ACA repeal, but by God sexting teens get 15 years), it's apparent the modern GOP deserves every bit of ridicule it's been getting.

Really the only thing they have over Dems right now is gun rights, which is pretty huge but I'm not Toddy and I'm not a one issue voter willing to compromise everything for one thing.

It's a total fricking clown show and I support every effort to derail the dumb shite they're trying to do.

The reasons you give are nowhere near enough to give dems more power

Any other parties are pie in the sky currently

This list of fricked up dem policies is longer than your arm

I get the rant but the Dems are soooooooooooooooo far left that the Reps have to equally as far right in an attempt to find middle ground.

But I consider myself conservative, not necessarily a Rep.

Absolutely and I don't support their policies either.

But I support them fricking up the Republicans policy if this is the shite we get.

They can both stymie each other until the sun explodes for all I care.

That doesn't jive with

So, you hate the Repubs so much, you will vote for the party that guarantees no tax reform and will actually impose more taxes, and for the party that created the ACA?

Think before you post.

I was done with TARP. The Tea Party was an attempt to hold the party accountable, but the establishment blunted it via the IRS and co-opted enough of the movement to shield much of party leadership. However, the leadership hold a smaller share of the power than they used to. We need to just keep fighting them, just keep primarying them and replacing them.

Also there's going to be ACA "repeal" in the sense that there will be a health care bill passed that will be called that by Trump

It'll just keep 95% of it intact and repeal the mandate in favor of a provision that will accelerate the death spirals even faster

Yeah, you know what I mean when I say no ACA repeal.

There will be no functional repeal and I'll bet dollars to donuts what the GOP does expedites single payer.

Who gives a frick about weed? Just keep smoking like you've always done. And mandatory minimums are necessary for some crimes or else you'll get those Cali judges giving pedophiles 6 months.
