You don't. I already suspected that you missed the point.

This post confirmed that.

Well, by all means clarify your point. People can only respond to what you post.

Pass. No one else had trouble with it making it likely that the issue is on your end.

It's not important to me that you get my point.

Carry on.

You had no point. I think that's the problem.

Show me what I missed and we can discuss it like adults instead of the ad hominems.

I had a point and I made it.

You missed it or you disagreed with it. Both have the same result of me not caring.

Last word is yours. Good day.

So instead of clarifying your ambiguity you double down on the silliness.

One of two reasons for this: you have no point or it was weak.

I mean I can quote exactly what you posted. You went off the reservation after you claimed a split in the Republican party was a defacto 3rd party. I responded why I thought that wasn't true. Your next response is some for of "you don't get it"

I accept your intellectual capitulation.

Good day as well.

Wow.

And this is why we have the split I'm talking about.

It doesn't seem like either side actually wants to do anything. We need term limits so congress will vote for what they believe in and not what will get them elected again.

Term limits would go a long way. The established politicians would never move in that direction on either side of the aisle sadly.

Real campaign finance reform and term limits would serve as a great tonic for what is wrong with the beltway.

They've always sucked most of them agree with the dems and the ones that don't are mostly all spineless and feckless. I voted for TRUMP not the GOP.

So far this thread proves that Dems and Reps got what they wanted.

The belief that there will never be any options but them.

Why do people think this is so?

At least just in isolation?

Many states have term limits. Our presidency has term limits, it hasn't really done much to curb lobbying, money, corruption, and the stuff people usually use term limits as a solution for.

In fact it can be argued that the limit of a term would incentivize politicians to both enter for nefarious reasons knowing it will not be a career, and then look to use the office to set up themselves for when they have to leave.

IDK, I m pretty split on how beneficial term limits would really be.

I don't think term limits would be a panacea but they would be a nice way to back door an age limit (which would be politically impossible directly) so you don't get doddering great-grandparents like McCain and Feinstein trying to set internet policy when they can't use their own email
