I think a lot people are for abortion because it is typically done by minorities and some see that as a way to control those populations. I don't think there is anyway we can ever put that cat back in the bag and it is not a fight conservatives can win. However, I can't say with a straight face that it is the moral or right thing to do except in very specific circumstances.

I understand this feeling but I can't shake the belief that innocent life should be protected.
If I could buy into the rebranding of human life as "fetus" it would be easier for me to support but I cannot.
I think all forms of BC that do not require a doctor to administer (IUD,etc) should be available OTC. I also support the very controversial idea of offering compensation for voluntary sterilization.

In the lowest of the socioeconomic groups,abortion is actually a raw deal, instead they have the kid and they get free healthcare, more money for food stamps and EBT, more qualified for free phones/ unlimited data and all that. and come tax season, they clean house.

It's not though. It's a separate human being. It's not the same as getting a tattoo.
