Maybe if women are afraid that they might have to pay for their own abortion then they would take measures not to get pregnant. Or, pass a law the babby-daddy has to fork over the money. The US taxpayer should not be on the hook for this.

There are enough liberals in this world that they can pass the hat and pay for abortions for all.
