You claimed to be literal but the debate is not about homosexual behavior being a sin but about two people who are the same sex getting married. The law in question is not related to homosexual sex, just a legal commitment to love, honor and obey.

When it's done to control society for "moral" reasons, there's a good chance. That's not the job of government.
I've never understood people who thought something being wrong, wanting other people to abide by their morals. It really shouldn't matter if two dudes, or a guy and five chicks hook up and sign papers.

And it will be. Just look at the current direction. At some point, some clever lawyers will claim that underage children are being denied equal treatment under law. By that time, all the other barriers people like you want swept aside will be gone. Where then, will be the logical/legal reasoning to deny children their 'right' to make their own decisions and enter into their own contracts?

The exact same as it currently is... Minors are not allowed to enter into contracts without their parents.
